Just like to know where everyone stands. Don't have to express why you chose what you chose; voting silently is just fine.

Well let's see, Bush has done a lot of shit to this country in 4 years. He has also started a gimmick re-election campaign that Kerry is doing also.

"I'm a horses ass, and I approve this message:" <-- that

I don't think Kerry will be much better, if at all better. But Bush HAS TO GO. Therefore, I vote for somebody else. *shrug*

Well the votes show something perfect since Kerry and Bush's votes are equal so far...

Bush just had a single vote about 5 minutes ago.
And he has 5 votes as I'm writing this, so you're now wrong too.

Actually, I was the fifth vote. That still doesn't tell how 4=1. Well actualy, it does. ou = win, and Xion doesn't because yoiu said it first. I actually didn't hink of that.

They were equal when I posted. So at the time my post was right.

*copies from TEK*

If you are a non-US citizen, or are under 18, disregard this post. It's not meant for you.

All right everyone, November is creeping up on us, so we have to make that all important decision.

Bush or Kerry...

Well, here's what I propose:
Just get off your ass, and vote this year.
"I don't know who to vote for." Well who said it had to be for one of these two jackasses?
"It's just one vote, it doesn't matter." Bullshit, this is the reasoning of HALF OF THE GOD DAMN COUNTRY!
"But I don't support x candidate on some of these issues." Yeah, well guess what. No two people are alike. You're just going to have to grit your teeth and accept that.
"I just don't care." Then get the hell out of the country. Leave it for those that give a shit about what happens with everyday life.

You have the right to vote. Should you choose to give up that right, you are hereby gagged to never complain about any situation ever again. If you are too lazy to vote, never complain about anything. Your lack of getting off your ass means you don't give 2 shits about what happens about anything.

[/rant]

I didn't make a new thread because it was this thread that inspired the rant.

They're both crappy candidates with overly right winged tendancies. Then again, so is Nader, but he is slightly less crappy.

I live in the UK, and I care a lot about this. My reason being is that the US government makes what is going on in the wider world their business. This doesn't just affect America, it affects everyone.

I hate Bush, and I don't like Kerry much more. Out of the two that have a chance, I would say Kerry is the lesser of the two evils.

...Nader is right wing? Since when was this? He's pretty fucking liberal, at least by American standards. If he didn't act like such a nutjob I think people would be more recieving of his ideas.

I vote for Ret. Gen. Wesley Clark.

If I could vote, I don't know who I'd vote for, but I'd make sure it's not Bush...

World peace through war = fKitten Yiffer. :/

We're getting the same kind of stuff that happened in France during the previous election, people voted for Chirac for lack of a better candidate, and Le Pen got a lot of votes, the whole country was like "holy shit damn," I mean, the guy's slogan is "Give France to the French" -- he's like a watered down hitler or something..

EDIT: Oh yeah and chances are if bush stays in power he'll be re-establishing the draft.. I don't know about Kerry cause I haven't read that much about him, but meh, you don't want another president to go all military on us :/

I hate getting political, so all I'm going to say here is that I ma voting for Bush. It is my right, and I won't bother you for voting Kerry or for someone else, so don't bother me about voting for Bush.

That is all.

Let's be realistic here, if you don't vote for either Bush or Kerry, you're basically wasting your vote.

Wite, remember, I'm just a little "right" of all out Socialist. I am an ardent member of the NDP party of Canada. Nader is a Green. Green is just a Centre-Right winger who cares about the environment.
