It sounds like a good idea. Maybe you could have a seperate section for different types, such as winter, desert, castle, etc.

Seems good... Might reduce clutter, and increase loading time, which is a good thing

I finished a complete set for a castle from smb3 (smas) yesterday, all the palletes are exactly the same. It has the animated conveyor belts, the thwomps w/ their 3 faces changed, the piranha plants from smb3, the spikes handrawn but a bit similar to the smb3 ones, that ground that is black and white (that looks like a chess table), the lamps, the jumping fire enemies from the desert (not the ones act like ghosts, im talking about the ones from world 2), the dry bones, hand drawn podoboos, chains, blocks, and it allows the conveyor animations and the brick animations. I'll prepare a screen and show it to ya.

Alrighty then,
ToDo list for The ExGFX Workshop 3.0
- Slightly new layout
- Sorting files (Until now only sort on Name/Author/Pallette)
I'm looking into a way to also be able to sort on other things like type and such, but I don't want to rename all the files again, anyone have some suggestions?

Sort by rips? Have one section for rips, and another for hand-drawn GFX?

No ... You stick files a b and c in folder A, and files d, e and f in folder b... no need to change filenames... unless you are an organization freak...

Wich I am
I currently have all the zips and images in the same folder and I want a way to only get the rips out there without having to rename them so the script can recognise them as rips. I was thinking of a select case where it checks for the name. This would however mean that I have to add every file to a PHP file and set its properties, I could do that, I'm bored anyway.

I have completed the HAND DRAWN ExGfx for Tetris, and would like to contribute. I will do the best I can to follow the instructions provided in the first post.

I have the .mw3 pallete file saved, but how do i get the map16 data saved?

It's one of the F buttons, I forgot wich one, that should also be in the first post I think, else it's another post in here.
PM me for my e-mail, your author code will be kp9.

ExGFX note: I'm moving all files to a database for the sorting, stay tuned. I already got the new layout and all done.

The layout idea would be cool. And you could possibly add a button next to the graphics set so then you can then see the pictures (sort of like BMF's site). That would definitnley increase speed since most of us already have almost all the ExGFX downloaded.

And Tetris level... sounds very cool.

For sorting... how about sort by number of downloads? That way people can see what ExGFX are downloaded more than the others... or would that be too much?

cpubasic13: I did that.
blackhole89: I think I deleted the e-mail then, please resend it and put something along the lines of "ExGFX" in the subject line.

EDIT:
Sorting for downloads will also be available in (one of) the new version(s). Because I'm currently having some trouble because of the way I did my DB to have a download counter, but I'm lookin' into it.

Heheh, people saying that the ExGFX page is cluttered and slow to load. Well, let me put it this way: Be glad that Coby made the page, otherwise you'd have that plus the loading time of the first page of this topic. And let me tell you, THAT was hell.

Is it possible to mix and match ExGFX? I am wanting to use 2 of KirbyATW's ExGFX in my hack (the pyramid ones) but I don't want to use two different pages for such small amounts of ExGFX. In LM I can insert up to FF or FFF ExGFX (one of the 2) but I can only put about 20 of those into my levels. Some help as to how to access all of those pages would be great.

ExGFX Workshop 3.0 is finished, the page will not be available tonight at around 7 PM. (Brussel time, no idea wich time zone that is. )

The update will only take a few seconds though, the reason I am not releasing it right now is because, well, I want you all to wait :p and because I'm doing some last check-ups to make sure everything works like it should.
