| No... Actually, it was an unexploded WWII bomb shell. That was the prisd heirloom, but it was never known that it was unexploded. The theif noticed this and phoned the police. No points given out. On to the next question. Question 36: The Lawsuit (70 Points) 'The tallest building in a famous city is 62 storeys high, and is covered in glass panels. The owners were horrified when the glass panels began falling off, causing damage and danger to teh surrounding area. It had been found that the glass company had been negligant to supply glass that had not been properly pre-stressed, as specified in the building designs. The company that owned the building instituted a lawsuit against the glass company, suing for millions of dollars in damages. They had an excellent case, and would have won the suit, but one week before it was due to start, the company dropped all charges and receved no compinsation whatsoever. Why?' Toughie? Maybe not. |
