| The chinese mafia, the Triads, deal in exotic fish markets and illegal fish trade. I'm guessing that the fish was a sign that he had done something wrong in the eyes of the mafia, and the Triads sent him that fish to show him that they were coming to kill him, so rather than prolong the inevitable, he decided to kill himself before they got to him, and just make the death painless, as opposed to the torture he would have had to endure before his death at the hands of Triad agents. This one's way too far out there to matter, but I'm honestly out of ideas. |
