Carter being let go is a bit of a surprise, though I spose he deserves it if he just wants to get stoned and wasted all the time.

In other slightly-old-but-still-shocking-news, the Minnesota Vikings signed formed WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar. He's gonna try out as a DE. (He signed a week ago. Whether or not he makes the cut is another question.) The Vikings need defense, if he's good enough, then anything helps.

Here's my question, why are the remaining unsigned draft picks refusing to sign? Idiots holding out for money is rather stupid (considering they are rookies, first of all.) Though in the Charger's trade for Eli, I can see why. (The Chargers are just horrible as an organization right now.) I forgot the guys name though, sorry.

Yeah I heard about Brock. Bet he washes out.

And about the draftees: I feel the same way. wtf is up with that. I can see a 8 year veteran coming off a career year doing that...but a rook that has done 0 in the league? Stupid.

Brock will get thrown out of the game for ruffing the quarterback. He will F5 the quterback and get kicked out. Retuning to the original subject. Wow I would have never thought that Tim Brown would leave the Raiders I figured he would retire with them...

If I'm not mistaken, Tim Brown has joined with his old coach, Jon Gruden, right? If so, he wasn't without a team for long...

Daemon: Not quite. He did get in a dustup with one of KC's linemen after a harsh sack during a scrimmage.

And yup, he signed with Tampa Bay. McCardell can now resume eating Gruden's ass.

Brock Lesnar fans: He did not record a tackle in Minnesota's first preseason game. Don't anticipate him playing this season, but they are high on his potential and think he could probably be practice squad fodder.

Gruden snatched Brown up, and he's wearing a Tampa jersey.

THat is not cool...Well I guess it will be okay since a lot of people might actually like the Bucs.. I however like the 49ers, and will probably allways like them...

a lot of people might? considering how good they've played these last few years, they have a good fan base in Tampa

anyways, the 49ers are in another rebuilding year so do not expect much out of them...

Apparently, the Jets have signed the vauled Quincy Carter.
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylc=X3oDMTBpZ2NvMjltBF9TAzk1ODYxMDU5BHNlYwN0aA--?slug=ap-jets-carter&prov=ap&type=lgns
Sources indicate that he will play as backup to Chad Pennington.

Personally, I think this is the Jets year to dominate... well, not exactly "dominate", but I do think they'll make the playoffs this year as they've got a solid young quarterback, and other amazing young talent on that team. Also a revamped defense--they stoned Manning cold last Saturday.

Well this happened much sooner than I thought, but Brock Lesnar was released on Monday. I guess a groin injury is part of the blame.

Warner named Giants staring QB for week 1.

Jeff Garcia says he needs to get more work in.

And the big story of the week, "Prime Time," Deion Sanders to report to the Ravens training camp on Wednesday.

Jacksonvill just beat Buffalo 13-10. They were trailing 10-6 on 4th and goal with 4 seconds left in the game. Lob pass and they got it. Damn.

Ooooooof. Good thing I'm out of the pick'em league this season. In my two survival leagues:

Houston over San Diego
Baltimore over Cleveland

In case you want an explanation... I bolded my picks. In italics? The actual WINNERS.
