Enlarge objects? You mean like a giant world? Simple: You draw them yourself.

Think I am kidding? No, I am serious.

There is really no easy way to enlarge objects unless you want it to be all pixelated more than it is.

And if you mean a zoom option, why? There really isn't a need for one...

Insert the ExGFX. Then you have to assemble the tiles in the Map16 editor.

If you don't know how to do that, might I suggest looking in the help file? Don't ask here about how to use that editor, as most of your questions could be answered with the help file.

Select custom palette, then save the level. That will ensure it saves.

Otherwise, when you edit the palette, you have to click "Save Palettes to ROM". Note that this will overwrite the palettes you changed throughout the entire ROM.

I have a problem.
I set up an exit from one level to another and i even set up the secondary entrance for it, but when i go to play the level and enter the warp, it takes me to the begining of the level rather then the secondary entrance.

Can anybody help me out?

Oh, and dose it work when you have to exits to two different levels and to secondary entrances from two different levels?

I ask, because that is what i have going on, you start the level..... go a ways, then to another level then back to the last level then down a pipe to another level and then back to the main level again, and i hope that is not what is wrong.

How to set up a secondary exit:

1) Open the secondary entrance window and choose an unused entrance. Chose which level it should lead to, which scree, X/Y co-ordinates, etc.
2) Go to the level where the pipe/door is which should lead to that entrance.
3) Open the Add/Modify/Delete Screen Exits and choose which screen it is on. Instead of entering the destination level number, you enter the secondary entrance number and checks the "The above value is a secondary exit number"
4) Save

I've looked all over and nowhere I can find how to edit the overworld palette. See, I'm making a post-apocaliptic SMW version, where everything's dark and all... But the world map's so... Yaay sunshine!!-ish. How do I make it look like evil chaos/destruction/apocalypse.

(Please don't beat me if I could've found this somewhere else very easy, I'm just a simple noob)

Is it possible to make a mini-boss half way through a level, and after you defeat it you continue with the level?

Actually, I don't know. But I don't think so:
You can't render the boss battle level (including the reznors), so you can't put a door or a pipe there that leads to a next part of a level.
But I repeat: I'm not sure.

Anyone know something about my problem (read my previouws post)?

I hope it is ok for me to ask this here.

Have you guys that work on this board ever thought about puting in place a spell checker?

It would help to make sure it is easyer to understand some newBees that come in here and are not great spellers.

I think im one of them.

My spelling sucks great big *&@$*#% b*l*s.

Okay, in order:

1) You can edit the Overworld pallette in LM's overworld editor. Go to "Overworld", then click on "Edit submap FG pallettes".

2) ASM

3) Nothing.

Because smw apocalypse, you jerk, i was not sure where to ask.

Try not to be such an ass next time.

First off the topic says question and answers for newbies, not super mario world questions and answers for newbies.

And as i never go to any other part of the board then super mario world hacking, i was not sure where to ask.

And you are more of a newbie then i am, as you are only at level 2 here on this board.

I think next time ill just PM a MOD here at the board about any questions i may have, so i will not have to put up with people like you.

This is the Super Mario World forum. There is another forum called Help/Suggestions. This shouldn't be so hard to figure out...
