| Yeah Paper Mario was fairly easy, but there were some good side quests, like the Badges and Star Pieces. It was also fairly long, and the level design was great. Easiest Mario Game? I believe it is the original mario bros. game (yeah, that arcade one  ). You really don't have to read the manual in order to learn the rules... |

But is there any end on Mario bros?  (i'm not counting any end glitches as the end, certain arcade games have glitches when you get very far in them...)SMW, I seldom lose on that game. And I find the orginal SMB pretty easy.  |

| Super Mario Bros. definently. We can all beat that sucker in less than seven minutes. but only because we've memorized the hell out of it.You know what's crazy? you all might know this already, but somewhere on the net is a video of SMB3 being beaten in eleven minutes ( I think)! What's even more amazing is the insanity this player goes through. Some levels mario barely touches the ground. sure, the dude was probably using an emu with a quick save/load feature, but even tapping save buttons during gameplay can be a daunting task. | |||

For some reason, as we get into more and more advanced technology, more time is spent on making the games pretty than it is making them challenging. | Yeah, I mean it's blatantly obvious the guy just macroed up mario's movements and executed them autonomously. There's a whole series of time attack videos for a bunch of NES games. There's the Lost Levels one, the Super Mario Brothers one, the Castlevania one, they're all just as impressive as that 11 minute SMB3 video and they're all macroed.
