I, err, stayed up all night playing Superstar Saga  I've beaten The Lost Levels without losing all my lives. That's kinda impressive. I dunno, I've never been too good at Mario games. 'course, I've never really tried to do anything impressive in 'em, either. |

I beat Super Mario World with the minimum points... It was very weird trying to do it. Took lots of patience, and resisting to kill everything with a fireball  Found the pic, It took me quite a few tries to get it right. | I managed to 96 SMW, but that's not all that impressive, just the star by the levels. Thought that Special level where you go through a mock-up of the demo stage was neat though. I also managed to make Luigi almost twice as strong as Mario in Superstar Saga, if that's worth commendation. |

| Kirby ATW, that's impressive! How did you finish with only 800 points!? Did you wait until the clock reached 0 to clear each stage? My best achievement is probably getting all 92 stages in SMW, without getting any of the switch blocks. At the time I thought it was great, but surely more impressive things have been done! |

| To Heian: Yeah, technically you die if the clock reaches zero, so I had to do a bit of counting and cleared the stages at 1. I couldnt take the shortest route to bowser though(Star land 1 has those spin jump point blocks of doom  ) Anyways, if anyone wants to try and meet(or beat) that score, be my guest. |

With a lot of luck, it is possible to clear a stage at exactly 0, IIRC. A LOT of luck. Or savestates. A lot of savestates.  Uh... I cleared worlds 6 and 7 in SMB without being hit once, without ever falling into a pit. I also went through the first five worlds of SMB2 without dying, the first three untouched. When I was younger, I recieved an award from Nintendo recognizing me as one of the top Super Mario Bros. players in the United States. I really should find the letter they sent me, and my patch award... They first noticed me when I reached World 9, and sent them a video-- just before they started the national Nintendo Power No-Warping contest. I was, and still am able to play through the Super Mario Bros. games (1, 2j, and 3) without losing a life or getting hit... and no warping either! Now, I try to do things like completing the game without collecting any coins, or I try to compete with time records on various web-sites. I am getting close, it's a matter of shaving a few seconds off here and there to meet with them.  |
