OK, so here's the plan. I was hoping to try and avoid using key exits as secret exits, as laid down in the rules by Mario World. Instead, I was hoping to use a ? sphere. At the same time, I was ALSO hoping to get rid of the goal at the end of each stage and, again, use a ? sphere. (When I say ? sphere, I mean the object, not it's appearance. I will make it something more obvious that it's an exit, but I don't know yet) Anyway, basically my idea involves two spheres on some levels. So I was going to make one of them green, as per normal, and the other one red, to symbolise a secret route. However, as you know, touching these spheres gives you the uber special exit music, and not the normal gate exit music. Can this be changed? More importantly, can my GREEN one play the standard music whilst the RED one plays the uber secret music? |

If you are doing a sprite change, it won't change in the code itself; it's still the same Goal Point Question Sphere. If you could somehow manage to add a new sprite and change it that way through code, perhaps you can pull that off... Otherwise, it's not going to work... Try learning ASM, maybe you can figure things out there. | |||

Actually, The_Raven, there's a custom block that mimics the Goal Point Question Sphere and brings you to the secret exit. So, provided he knew enough ASM to change the sound effect played for the actual Goal Point Question Sphere, it'd be quite doable. | |||

While we're here, how would I change the sphere's music from that special fanfare to the normal level exit fanfare? |
