| OOC basic rules you know how it goes. Oh this is a direct challenge to Schwa. Luke walked through the city as he had done many times already. He had his flute out and he was playing an up lifting tune. Luke had spent several days in this town already, and was almost ready to leave. "Well Luke I guess you are going to leave without saying goodbye?" "I was looking for you to say goodbye and thank you for all the help." Luke played another song and walked to the gates of the town. Luke felt the precence of a strong warrior, but for once it wasn't evil. Luke could almost feel comfort in this power. |

| That's when Luke gets a direct telepathic message. "You gotta love that! It's so cool how folks can 'feel' the presence of strong spirits. It just goes to show you how much the soul craves good virtues." A figure is barely visible in the sky. *zooms in* A young man in a futuristic suit of armor, riding a crystal disc, is zigzagging through the skies, above the city. That seems to be where the telepathic messages are coming from. "Love your music, Luke! I believe they call you a bard, right? Bards are awesome in my opinion. I heard you wanted a little sparring match, so let's get right to it! I'll be waiting outside the city gates." The figure in the sky heads toward the ground. Right about now, telepathic pings can be heard from the psi warrior's location. This mysterious figure seemed to know exactly what Luke wwas looking for... just how powerful is this guy? He seems to be good-hearted-- even Luke can tell. |

| Luke calmly walked out the city gates without really caring how people send telepathic messages. He walked to where Schwa was standing and started playing a song. Fire rose in Lukes heart as he started playing the ballard of the warrior. | |||

| The figure takes off his futuristic armor, revealing the purehearted, noble warrior known as Schwa. Schwa is dressed in loose, white clothes and a black blindfold. "Glad to battle you, any day. Here, you can get the first move in, if you're worthy enough." Schwa holds his hands up, and a cloak of blue, flamelike ether coats them. "But you should know, psi warriors do not specialize in offense, making them very dangerous." Schwa smiles. What is he up to? | |||

| "I will gladly take the first move." Luke finished his song and he seemed to have fire floating around him. Luke played a not on his flute and an energy force raced towards Schwa. This enery force is almost impossbile to see unless you can notice that the air is moving around it. "I will start off slow for you." |

| Schwa holds his arms across his chest, and the blue ether surrounds his whole body instead. Moments later, the ether flares up quite a bit, then dies down again. Schwa seems unharmed. "I told you, we don't specialize in offense. You could say we're into defense. For instance, I can absorb most energy attacks and only take 25% of the damage while gaining mana. Plus, I can deflect any physical attack with my ether-coated hands at a cost of my mana. I realized the song to be an attack, so I quickly tried to absorb it, figuring it to be an energy attack. Now, I'll attack. Azure Bubble!!!" (echo effects) Schwa holds a hand out toward Luke, and a blue ball of ether flies toward him. Once it's 4 feet away from Luke, the ball morphs into a glittery blue bubble containing electric currents inside. The bubble orbits around Luke's head, never getting closer, never getting farther away. "For the sake of suspense, I won't tell you what that does. Good luck from now on.  " |

| "So you think that defence can save you from everything?" Luke started to play another song on his harp this time. The wind swept around him and then sent him into the sky. The wind never seemed to effect anyone or anything besides Luke. "Wind's Glory should be able to shake this thing." Luke started flying in random directs to get away from the bubble. |

| Surprisingly, the bubble seems to always orbit Luke's head perfectly, always 4 feet away. "That thing is locked on to your spirit, Luke. Don't worry, when it becomes useful it won't hurt you... maybe your pride, but that's about it. Now I'm gonna use an actual damage attack, so be ready. Alpha Psibeam!!! (echo effects) Schwa thrusts his hands toward the aerial bard, releasing from them a beautiful, lavender/silver arc of holy energy. The arc zooms toward Luke and even homes in on him. "Oh yeah, that thing is also locked on to your spirit. My attacks usually do that. Heh heh... But this time, trying to dodge it will double it's power. Holy Psibeam was a weaker version of this ability, but I took some serious training at the Crystal Psipalace, my HQ, to sharpen my old techniques." |

| "Hey this isn't fair I am going to have to stop you!" Luke started playing a song on his flute that seemed to make the air quake around him. Energy gathered at the mouth of the flute and shot to intercept the oncomming attack. "I hope you like Bahamut's Hum. It is one I made and it works very well." The energy beam was like fire, but it didn't have flares comming out from it. The attack made the air around it raise in tempeture as it gained speed. Luke calmly waited confident that his attack would blast Schwa's back. |

| "Perfect!" Suddenly, the blue bubble orbiting Luke activates! The bubble increases in size, then shrinks while launching all the electric currents out at the energy beam Luke released. The currents surround the beam, light up, and the beam is gone! The bubble still remains, but is small and empty. With that, the energy arc continues to close in on Luke. "So NOW you know what Azure Bubble does! That blue orb can dispel any form of energy, automatically. Now it won't work again, as it is empty, but what's about to happen next is sure to shock you..." With that being said, the blue ether around Schwa's hands flares up for a second, and the bubble starts to fill up with electric currents again! "Yes, I can recharge the bubble using a bit of mana each time it activates. Fortunately for you, recharging takes quite a few minutes and it won't harass you again for a while. So, enjoy your attacks while they work!" Schwa stares at the holy arc, sure that it would hit it's mark in a few moments... OOC: If that attack hits, it isn't very powerful. Luke isn't evil, right? Psibeams only do a lot of damage to evil opponents. |

| Luke faced the attack and let himself be hit directly. For a second it seemed that his whole body was electrified and then he started to fall. Before he hit the ground the wind saved him and Luke regained his playing stance. "How did you do that? It doesn't matter I have something you won't be prepared for." Luke started playing a song that was horrible. It was completely off key and would make a deaf persons teeth feel bad. The music still flowed from Luke's harp. "If you can still hear me this song can cause you to be poisoned pretrified or be slowed." |

| "I dunno," Schwa says. "Let me find out." Schwa does a backflip, but falls mid-flip, in pain. "Yup, poisoned it is. I can fix that shortly. Status Purge!!!" (echo effects) Suddenly, Schwa becomes electrified for a second! He falls to a kneel after it stops, but gets back to his feet. "Ouch! Status Purge is a very painful psi to put on myself, but at least it cured me of my poisonous predicament. Well, I still think bards are cool, if it makes you feel any better. You do all your damage with songs... so how good are you during melee combat?" Schwa holds his right fist in the air, and the ether around it becomes brighter. He then takes off at a dash toward Luke, then once close enough, he attacks cleverly. His left fist heads for Luke's face, but fakes without connecting while his right fist slams to the chest for real. |

| The wind attempts to throw Schwa back and move Luke out of danger. Before Luke was thrown back he tried to bash Schwa over the head with his flute. "I won't let you win!" After Luke was thrown back he flipped and brought out his harp for his next song. He waited for the air to calm so he could play the song. |

| The flute lands a direct hit. "Wha'd you build that thing with, cement?!" He noticed his attack completely missed Luke, and that his opponent's got a new instrument. "Oh, he's got a harp, folks. I wonder what he'll plot next? C'mon, Azure Bubble, finish charging up!" The bubble is only a little more than halfway full. "Take this, worthy one!" Schwa attacks with a dense shower of weak energy bolts that spray everywhere around Luke. "The next two times I make a move, be ready. I have a brilliant way to turn the tables on you, I can promise you that much." |

| Lukes starts playing another song, but this time on his harp. A barrier rises around him that is ment to give him a defence against attacks for a while. He doesn't move after he plays the song and he lets all the energy bolts hit him. He took more damage then he thought and fell back a little. "These attacks are stronger than I thought." Luke righted himself and looked at Schwa wondering what he could possiblely do. |

| "Watch this, Luke. I learned a very rare psi technique from an oracle a long time ago. Sensae sent me to find her, and I did. This oracle... she gave me the ability to break of a piece of my spirit and use it in battle. So, here goes..." Schwa folds his arms across his chest, and becomes surrounded in blue ether. He stands very still, then suddenly lights up red for 1 second. After that, three small, blue wisps appear out of nowhere over Schwa's head and start orbiting Luke in the exact same way as the Azure Bubble. Schwa seems damaged. "Yes, this technique does hurt me a little. What I did was took off a tiny portion of my spirit and placed it in the Etheral Dimmension, where it multiplied into three of itself. Those wisps are still in the Etheral Dimmension, but as they are ready to activate soon, they're visible to anyone. That's my move, Luke. Your shield won't protect you for too much longer, so be brave and attack me-- I dare ya." |

| The wind seemed to build up behind Luke visible as leaves circled in it. Luke started playing his song Wind's Glory again as the wind built up more. "I will attack, but this time I am going to hurt you badly." Luke released the wind and he was thrown forward. Luke returned his harp and took out his flute. He tried to hit Schwa with a thrust using the power of the wind. |

| "So be it!!" Schwa cries excitedly, moving to get in the way of the hit. He takes it in the chest, hard, and falls to the ground from the blow. But something interesting is happening with one of the blue wisps... Without warning, one of the 3 wisps orbiting Luke hits Luke with a jagged beam that does no damage, but seems to be studying him. After a few seconds of the beam, that wisp starts to grow bigger, and change shape... after 6 seconds, the wisp has morphed into a bizarre beast! This creature is about 4 feet tall and humanoid-shaped. It resembles a red goblin with grey robes, and the thing's wielding a flute that looks exactly like the one Luke attacked with, same size, color and everything. Schwa gets up and stares at the newcomer. "Ha ha! That's what the spirit pieces are for, Luke! Every time you hit with one of your attacks, one of the pieces of my spirit studies that attack, and creates a body for itself with the same attack it studied. This creature, a Flute Goblin as I call it, can use it's flute to attack in the same ways you attack with your own flute. Like that damn-powerful thrust I had to endure!!!" With that, the Flute Goblin roares and leaps at Luke at an amazing speed, thrusting his flute into Luke's chest. |

| Luke was stunned by the sudden appearence of the attack and took the full force of the blow. Falling backwards, Luke brought out his harp and starts playing another song, but this ones notes seem to be random and in consistant. "Now lets see what spell I get. I call forth the Ballad of the Mage!" Lightning began to strike around the battle field before it gathered above the flute goblin. The lightning came crashing down with incredible power. Luke watched in anticipation as the Ballad of the Mage had casted a strong spell and not a weak one. Lightning storm was succesfully casted, but it temporarily blinded everyone who was looking towards it. |

| The Flute Goblin was too fascinated to dodge-- he falls back from the powerful lightning, scorched across his face. But this great attack triggered another wisp... A second wisp activates in the same manner as the first one did, only it's becoming something else. After 6 seconds, the wisp has morphed into a white eagle partially shrouded in a cloud of mist. The eagle immediately takes to the air and starts circling Luke from the sky. "Lightning bolts. They worked well against my first creature, but they'll also work well against you." As soon as Schwa finishes speaking, the eagle shrieks and a lightning bolt flies down from the heavens, striking only about a foot away from Luke. In the meantime, the Flute Goblin is trying to play some songs with his flute. (He seems to have learned how dangerous combat is, as he has a huge scorch mark across his face and chest.) Schwa doesn't attack this time as he's havving too much fun watching his summoned creatures take care of Luke. |
