| Camping is pretty OK sometimes, it helps me to get away from all my problems at home and cooking stuff on the campfire is pretty awesome. Eventually though, I get computer withdrawal and sometimes the bugs can be annoying. |

Looking at the posts in this thread, I see most people hate bugs when camping but please, everyone remember, we all know there are even more bugs during the evening and that if you have a campfire(mostly during the evening/night) they won't come anywhere near ya. So we all need to say thanks to the campfire!

Camping = fun but sometimes not
It's fun when there's a whole bunch of people and like..just a whole bunch of people together like either friends and extended family..me and my cousins used to go run around "hiking" and making bon-fires. Now that was the shizzle. My cousin would pour baby oil on it and we threw pieces of bushes and stuff on it. That was one of the best trips, Memorial Day weekend. We just recently went for only a weekend and it was fun too. We go a lot..like a couple times a year. We at least go once a year..sometimes it's boring when it's just us, our family but I like it when I invite friends..other than that it's boring. I've gotten used to the bugs, I don't mind much about those..once there was this popcorn looking spider in the tree..that was funny.
I've had some bad memories with camping but it's okay..my dad has a jeep and he likes to go 4 wheeling or whatever well "Four wheeling". I hope he doesn't sell it because there's this thing called the rubicon and stuff and it has an easy and hard trail..and it's like a couple week thing and you go all over. Hopefully we'll do that one day  |

| It is fun. Some trips aren't though. Come with if you can survive the bears eating your belongings! BEWARE! Mr. Bear might like you I wasn't ever scared of the bears though. I saw a few deer and a few babies. They're c0ute Where we usually go they walk through the camp at night and stuff. |

I just went camping a couple days ago actually and it really wasn't that bad although I caught a cold. I went with a group from a church I go to.
My favorite part of camping is hiking and roasting marshmallows...

man, i never been hard core camping..i mean i've been in cabins and stuff but not just out in the open, that would be cool...well i think, things always seem cool before i do them, but anyway, ...wait, i have been once in a club, ya that was cool!! aww the outdoors, but really i don't rmember much tho...just a lot of trees and pretty sites, man i wish i had a camrea!!

| I remember the first time I went hiking. That was like torture..it was very purdy though. I would do it again..but I was like way in the back while other people were in the front. I knew I was slow and a little out of shape but still . It was fun but I sure was hurtin the next day. The next time I go I should bring a camera |

Ahh.. camping. The smell of grass and pollen.. and all of those headaches XDD Man, I don't like to go camping anymore. I'm kinda allergic to pollen, grass, dirt, etc. I need to ask my doctor for something to like block out my allergies or something. Whenever I go camping, I get a headache like every hour. It sucks..
But then again, it was somewhat fun and boring at the same time. Whenever my family and I go camping, we bring the big RV thingie and stay in there all day =P At night we sometimes put hotdogs on a stick and stick them in the fire. Yeah man, there's nothing like burnt hotdogs XDD
We usually go camping at this one place called "Ice House" in the mountains and stuff. It's okay.. but when you drive up there, your ears get plugged and stuff. I kinda like the drive better than when you're actually there =P
In the mornings, we sleep until like 10 or 9 or sometime around there. It's like my parents never get up. x.x My sister and I usually wake up around 7 or 8 though... But when we go with our little sister, she usually wakes up and makes everyone wake up. o.o Yup... camping's okay to a certain extent, except for the allergies part. XDD

I forgot to mix Coke and Milk, I was going to do that at the camp but I forgot.
And I feel alot better after being on the camp, sure you feel cut off for a week but... it's a nice way to relax. |

Well, I'm back, and it was fun, although cold. A low of 38 Wednesday night... isn't it July?
Anyway, I went on a lot of bike rides, and nature trails, and I couldn't swim due to the freezing water.
I'm going to Clear Lake in August, also near Minocqua. |

A low of 38? That's crazy..the only time its like that here is in the winter..not ever the summer. Usually, where we go most of the time it's just in the 40's-50's.
I've always just wanted to take my bike camping but I never was able to because we didn't have any room  . Now the bikes have a flat tire..damn. My cousins would always bring theres and I was all bored and left out |
