Elastica- Connection Great song, watching Trigger Happy TV brings it back. I love the voice.... great thick London accent. "Another heart has made the trade... forget it, forget it, forget it!". |

Koi no Fuga by W W is a group made up the two cutest girls I've ever laid eyes on--Ai Kago and Nozomi Tsuji. Their music is very retro but their second album features new tracks I believe (not unless they too are remakes like in the first album). Anyways, this song is rather short but it's has a small beat to it. Both singers complement each other well and at times, is hard to distinguish the two (in the PV and during the song). |

Neo, I'm going to get that W off of you eventually, be warned. Smashing Pumpkings - Disarm I was never into these guys when I was younger. I wasn't really allowed to listen to them. But recentely I picked up a few of their CDs, and listened to this one track...Now I know why SP got so big. Despite Corgains kinda whiny voice, it is still haunting. The "aaaaooooo" following the end of each verse as well as the "killer in me is the killer in you, my love" are particularly speaking. With the sweeping orchestrated backing, I can listen to this song all day. Although lyrically, I find it brilliant, there are people at ends with it. A bunch of SP purists from my school hate it...HATE IT. I don't understand how that works. I don't know what to say, but this is just a beautiful track. |

L'Arc-en-Ciel - READY STEADY GO! :: You wouldn't believe all the trouble I went through just to get the correct version of this song. Oddly, there wasn't a lot of TV-sized versions to go through but there were multiple versions...including one that I listened to first that was the Japanese FM radio cut. Not that I wouldn't have a small interest in what it sounds like but...I was looking for the original. It's good. To say the least. Odd that this is the opening that they show on Adult Swim and it's the 2nd opening. We never got the first. |

The music is cool and so was the PV. I really dont' undertand the PV but whatever, this song rocks as well as the music. I can't help but wish I knew how to play the guitar when I listen to this track. |

Killswitch Engage-End of Heartache (title track) I know this has been posted before, but nonetheless, I love the song, and love the album (just got it today; love every song on it so far). I was gonna get the new deluxe edition that contains a bonus disc, but I was shorted on $$$, and thus, the bonus disc just contains the Resident Evil: Apocalypse version of the title track, which is practically the exact same song, just the latter portion of it. But yeah, if you're into metal, this is a definite must. Great album. |

Shonen Knife - Brand New Knife (album) Chances are you've never heard of these gorgeous girls from Japan before. I believe that they started in the 80s and have tonnes upon tonnes of albums out. A local music critic basically hailed them as the "closes thing that 3 Japanese girls can come to being the Beatles". And listening to them is really like listening to a female...Japanese version of the Beatles. |

Meat Puppets- Teenager(s) First time I heard this I thought it was purposely bad punk, but after 30 seconds it completely changes and it is absolutely beautiful. Its better to hear the first 30 seconds on fast-forward, so it sounds much more sinister, and then play normally when the guitar is mellowing out. Its so chilled and different, slightly different from MP's other songs like New Gods or Plateau. |

The piper Never Dies - Edguy Man, this is a good and solid whooping 10 minutes song. Heard of it only a fed days ago, listened to it only today, and thought it owned. Blame Xeogred for showing me. Right before the day I was going to get all of Iron Maiden's CDs, and some live shows. |

The Game - Gotta get it feat Jay Z and Dr. Dre This song seems okay so far..first time hearing it..Dre's actually coming out again soon by 2006..Im curious about his new album..forgot what it's called..I think it'x detox or something.. but yeah. The Game's CD is decent..not too good and not too bad it's just right I guess . I just suddenly got into the hip hop mood and I remember we were listening to some of it last Friday and I wanted to get a few songs. I could just get the whole CD. |

Killswitch Engage-Rose of Sharyn I really enjoy the chorus of this song. Several verses of screaming lyrics and edgy guitars, mixed in with a chorus that's purely sung with emotionally sound lyrics makes one for hell of a song. One of the best songs off the new KSE: End of Heartache, which has an amazing title track BTW (I think I've said that already). |

np: Radio Active: "Dead" If this be math rock, me likee. It's on a fairly obscure Pixies tribute album (simply titled "Tribute to the Pixies"), featuring Japanese artists or at least bands who're big in Japan. The only name I recognized on the track listing was British indie band Seafood (hell, I think they're the only ones on here who AREN'T Japanese, and this was when they were on Fierce Panda). Well, AMG described Radio Active's take on "Dead" as math rock. I'm'a guessing these guys are Japanese, as the singer kinda sounds the part... and they do look Japanese in the pic... and their names are in hiragana in the booklet... oh hell, is it J-math rock or math J-rock? Anyway, someone find me more of their work. STAT. |

DJ Tepples feat Damien, SR9, Konchan, ZZ - The legend. (period) :: The Legend of MAX (among others) meets The Legend of Zelda NES. Hilarity ensues. Better off seeing the whole simfile than just the music, but it's catchy by itself. | |||

Maybe DarkSlaya ... maybe, can it own the "Navigator"? Edguy - Navigator Awesome song. I cannot put into the words the greatness that Edguy preserves ... But I seriously need to get all of Quiet Riot's albums. /End Random (Iron Maiden does rock though) (edited by Xeogred on 03-19-05 12:13 AM) |

Killswitch Engage-When Darkness Falls It's the one off their End of Heartache album, not the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack, but it doesn't matter since they're both the same song, now does it? As for the song, it's mainly a bunch of screaming vocals and verses, coupled with a really catchy chorus ("when darkness falls... we are reborn... our dreams since the fall of man... we are reborn"). For "sensative" listeners, it may take a few listens to get used to, but when you do, it's actually a pretty catchy, heavy song. |

Originally posted by Ranko You should've asked me for the song!! Yea, I was kind of upset that they didn't want to include the first opening with the US version. I really love that song. I can sing to it the whole way through when I play it. If anyone wants it, ask me for it. I think it was better than the second and possibly the third. The transition from song to song in FMA is really great; I think it embodies the plot really well. I'm listening to The Moving Units - Going for Adds. To put it simply, I love the Moving Units. All of their current songs really appeal to me. They have a good beat and sound overall. The lyrics really invoke more feeling than anything else. If anyone wants a listen, just tell me. They're really something else. I prefer not to put bands in genres because it takes away from the feeling that bands are individual and representative of their own tastes. |

They Might Be Giants - Dr. Worm Because of the Homestar Runner video for Experimental Film, I'm slowly rediscovering them. Lots of good, upbeat catchy stuff. But judging by most of the posts on here, 'upbeat' isn't exactly one of the first words that come to mind... Travis Tritt - T-R-O-U-B-L-E At a recent school dance, a friend of mine linedanced to this song. (Dogan and I tore up the dance floor, BTW) Again, upbeat and catchy if you like the country genre at all. Worth checking out. |

Kittie- Paperdoll Talking to my friend on the phone, she said this song is a good reflection of her. I didn't ask why but after listening to it it makes me think if she thinks (linking to the lyrics: 1)She is the paperdoll with the blood runnining down her face 2)She is the one looking at the paperdoll 3)She is the one to eat the paperdoll's pain. Knowing her, she probably thinks she's the doll and I'll eat her pain. And she isn't far off. |

I'm listening to All That I've Got by The Used. It's a really cool song. The video for it is somewhat confusing, and i'm not sure i get the meaning behind it, but I'm guessing it's based on a dream someone had. This song just kinda makes u feel better when you're depressed, and i was feeling depressed earlier so im listening to it. The Used have a lot of good songs, and this is one of them. |
