God Owes Me Money - Cumchrist

Oh my fucking god. Best. Song title. EVER!

This comes off of...I don't know actually. It was in a file called Cumplete. I don't know if that's the name of the album or....

I'm not normally a huge fan of "cookie monster" vocals. These guys have a pretty good sound to them though. The songs are short as FUCK! One song is 9:47 but the rest are under a 1:30.
Must be a demo or something.

Here are some other charming track titles:

Mary Had a Little Clam
I Had To Break Up With Your Mom
Crucifixion Must Hurt Like a Bitch
Jesus Was an Angry Drunk
Ripping At the Flesh of Jesus Christ

kawaii!!!

Stratovarius- Black Diamond

Watching a few world-record level F-Zero X videos, and French player Betrand "Sherif'" Regeffe likes to change the music on his vids to real songs. Thus, on White Land 2 he has Stratovarius, and he lets the vid run a bit longer to fit some more of the song in. Cool song, Its the first Strat song Ive heard, and I generally like it. Sherif does that a lot on his vids- like on others he has Soil (Halo), and on others he uses Garbage.

I only heard of this band just now, and this the only song I've heard from them so far. But, it is pretty awesome thus far. I guess it's sorta nu-metal, so if you are into the genre, you may want to give them a listen.

Awesome you've heard of TFK? That's the first.(not really but I didn't think I'd see their name on here) Sweet!

Kumbia Kings - Shh

Even though AB is a hater and the K1 members are no longer in KK, so now this is an old song I think..I thought I heard Slim's voice..might not have been. THERE IT GOES! It doesn't sound too much like him though so I don't know . It's an okay song..I don't have the CD or anything but I wouldn't support KK anyway . Their birdcall sounds like it's on crack. K1's is much better..mwhaha. They were okay back in the days though..now they're haters.

Gavin, are you a big fan of Dream Theater then, too?

As for me, I just got introduced to a new band. They're known as Kalmah. I'm listening to the album Swampsong right now. It's fucking amazing.
It's like Children of Bodom, yet not. :/
It's kind of hard to explain, but check this album out. Or at least a few tracks.

Flogging Molly - Drunken Lullabies

If you know that I'm a Dropkick Murphys fan, you knew these guys wouldn't be too far behind. If you havent heard of them, they are a type of alternative to the Murphys. Although I still prefer DM, they are still worth a listen.

np: Manhead: "Birth School Work Death"

Wow, they sound a LOT like Electric Six. Only more dance-rockish instead of disco-metal. It's actually a cover of, I believe, a Godfathers song. You can guess what the subject matter is from the song title, methinks. It's apparently a side project of some producers who also perform as Headman, but WHUTEVAH. So the dance/electronic element's a little heavier, but it's more reminiscent of the Rapture than Prodigy.

Usher - Bad Girl

Me luv this song. Good beat, Usher got a great voice for it. This Cd has some good songs. The CD is called Confessions. I just burned it for my friend but..I don't know why she'd take it over the Brandy CD. Maybe because she hasn't heard it yet? Me like both CD's though. This song is one of my faves along with the other songs they played out on the radio..

Flogging Molly - Seven Deadly Sins

Another FM song. This is one of thier more infectious songs, and I just can't get it out of my head. Also, it doesn't hurt if you like pirates...

Flogging Molly is also coming around here pretty soon. My friends are going to try and get tickets to thier show...

Legion, I'm surprised that you found Cumchrist on your own. I met those guys once, they are pretty groovey. But you need to get their secret song off of the album Cumplete, it is a version of "Another One Bites the Dust", except it goes along the lines of Another Jew on the Cross.

Right now, I'm listening to Mr. Plow's album It is plow or never. Mr. Plow is just a drunk who picks up an acoustic guitar and totally rocks. Some simple chords and hilarious lyrics and song titles. Like Bukkakae Night in Canada. I actually saw him on the 22nd, talked to him for a bit. The guy gets total respect for bein' an awesome rock star. That night I also saw the Dayglo Abortions, my favourite punk band. It was all in all quite awesome.

Well, I found them on a metal torrent message board. And I figure with a name like Cumchrist, why the hell not? I'd be lying if I said it didn't grab my attention.

As for now, I'm listening to the new John 5 solo album. (The guy who joined Marilyn Manson for Mechanical Animals and everything after that.)
It doesn't matter if you like MM or not, this album kicks ass. It kicks a lot of ass. It's an instrumental album (with the exception of a few effect words here and there). He has more guitar talent then I originally gave him credit for.

He even has some country like songs on here. I could play "Liberty" for fans of country music, then tell them that it's from one of the guitarists in MM and they'd freak out. (Then they would probably say that they hate it. You know how people can be.)

But yeah, check it out sometime. It's great stuff.

I am listening to a tune from an old Toonami UK promo..

It's one I've been searching for on the net for like, 2 years! Well finally, a kind soul at toon zone forum managed to record it for me using a mic and Sound recorder
It's kind of heavy metal, but its fast and energetic, and the actual promo is as well.
Still, I'm glad I found it! *hugs tune*

I'm listening to a cover of "Imagine" by A Perfect Circle. I can't say I really like it, they kind of killed the mood of the original song and it didn't really work out well. :/ It comes off their new album eMOTIVe which comes out on election day, November 2nd. It's mostly covers and surrounds themes like poliitcs, war, love, etc...
I can't really give it a good recommendation, I don't really care for it.

Listening to the new Therion album(s). I bought them in a double disc set and as Bill and Ted would say they are most excellent.

Lemuria sticks out over Sirius B. It just has a more mythological surrounding to it, and its mood of lost paradise is really added to by the sombre orchestral scores. Sirius B is angry. Plain and simply apocalyptic sounding, it is raging and depressing.

In order to make up for such a lackluster cover, I'm listening to Aces High played by Children of Bodom (whom I'm going to see on the 11th, mega-w00t) It's a really good cover, the vocals are a bit different then the original but that's to be expected coming from CoB.
But still, a very nice cover of a most triumphant song.

Great. Now Ziff has B&T talk stuck in my head.

EXCELLENT!

By the way, this comes off an Iron Maiden tribute cd which I have every intention of purchasing.

EDIT: Who the hell is Onmyo-Za? Is this a japanese band? Listening to their cover of "The Trooper".

np: Yukmouth: "Game Ova"

Oooh, beef that's actually interesting. Even if no one knows who the fuck they are. ;D

For some reason, The Game (of G-Unit, erm, fame?) and Yukmouth (former frontman of Luniz) are a-fussin' and a-feudin'. Maybe Mr. Game spoke ill of Suge Knight (as the head of Yuk's label, Rap-A-Lot, is tight with him). Anyway, this is a response to the Game's "I Got A Million On It" (available, as is this song, at cocaineblunts.com). I'm giving this round to Yuk, who gets off lines like:

"A bitch move is showin' a nigga your gun and not usin' it/Nigga, I'm not Joe Budden!"
"You fuckin' poodle/Get it right, bitch!"
"Fuck that little-ass yellow gold whatever the fuck you rockin' with"

And he keeps talking about how the Game... has a tongue ring.

I'm listening to a somewhat new (late 90's) power metal band known as Powergod. They hail from Germany and they kick ass. More specifically, I'm listening to Into the Battle which comes off their first album "Evilution pt. 1".
If you like power and/or speed metal, and you haven't heard any of their stuff, check them out.
Great stuff.

this is the next song I've heard from this artist. She has a ballad type, tranquil songs that makes you um...warm and fuzzy. Anyways, I like this track along, along with her ever since track as well.

Anyways, something notable about this song is my japanese learning as paid off a little bit as I actually understand the first verse of this song
