| hmm...the swapped the shirt and overall's color...i dunno, the old color scheme was used back in a time of bad graphics quality...so it is hard to tell. since all the pictures of mario nowadays are him of having blue overalls, it will have to be the new one | |||

| This was a tough decision for me, but I've decided it would be awesome if Nintendo went old-school for a bit and made Mario have his old colors for a game. They should make a Super Mario game that generally reflects the first SMB completely, fire flowers, kicking shells, etc. However, it would be a 3D platformer.  |

| His 'old' colours are VERY old. That's going back awhile. Once SMB2 rolled around it had all changed, and heck, it had changed in official artwork before then, I think. Since SMB2 he's had the 'now' colours. There's been no change to his outfit for ages and ages. Anyway, he's much better with the blue overalls. The colours just work out nicer. |

Red overalls!? Yikes, that's just a little odd. I mean, I haven't seen red overalls at all except out of Mario, so I think it's safe to say that Mario's current suit colors are the best. I mean, that's why Nintendo still has him wearing them.  Though, the old suit colors are good to see once in a while. Like if you playing the Smash Bros. games. They're in there, just start switching costumes a bit and you got Retro-Mario!EDIT: Wait wait wait, are you talking about the Acmlm Mario at the top in the banner? Let's see here, Mario's overalls were red in 3 of his games. Donkey Kong, SMB, and SMB2. If you don't think it was red there, look at this: Yep, still red there, then for 3 it went to this:  That is when it went blue. |

| In Mario bros Mario have a blue overalls and a red shirt. FYI luigi have green overalls and a white shirt, and his hat is also white. Mario bros is the first game Mario did wear the colours as he have today. Edit: Bah, I meant White not green... (edited by ^_____ |
