Once upon a time (a year ago. ), I made a game in Multimedia Fusion 1.5 which starred our number 1 guy, Acmlm! It was a clone of Lemmings, and was to be thought of as an awesome game by many.

I finished a fully playable prototype of the game, and never actually finished it to a final version. The prototype isn't bug-free, but 90% playable.

I know what you're thinking, you want a link?

I didn't want to link to my local server, so I uploaded it to the only free, serious, non-image webspace I have.

Try it out, give me comments, make some levels too.

If the game isn't working for you, in the ZIP, there's another zip called "Putthesefilesinsystem32.zip" or something. Unzip the contents of that zip into your system32 folder.

Edit: I STRONGLY recommend you read the help file that comes with the game. I VERY STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT. It's not a huge monster help file, so read it. Thanks.

It's a pretty good game, and I'm sure it will fill in some of time when I have nothing to do. You did a good job on everything in the game, and the level maker is also very good and easy to use.

Looks pretty sweet. I just downloaded it and will try it out later. Not exactly on topic, but I've often wondered, where did he get the name Acmlm anyways? Does it stand for something? Oh well... once again, the screen shots looked kewl. Just out of curiosity, what programming language did you use?

This game sure killed some time when the board was down, it rocks drag as lemmings clone. It would be nice if you could add more features some day...

Good news, I'm developing an extended levels pack extension thingy, so if you want more than the 15 levels in there already, I'm making 15 more. (that's 30. )

I'm glad everyone finds my level editor easy to use. I was a bit worried that it may be a little confusing.

Oh, and I didn't add an option to disable music, so if you want a way to turn off the music, remove ModFX.dll from the Acmlms directory. When you want music again, put it back.

That's a groovy nice game.

It was a bit easy though...

I did notice a bug where if you tried to build a bridge directly after bashing through a wall, your Ace would just warp somewhere random

I'm busy downloading it as I type...

I only saw half of a screenshot... But by the sounds of it after reading the posts in this thread, and hearing it looks like lemmings... Not to mention it features Acmlm... How can it go wrong?

So yeah, I'll give you my verdict after i've downloaded and played it .

EvillerLegion: I can't reproduce that bug.

Once I learn C++, I plan on porting the code to it, because MMF was nice for a start, but C++ would be so much faster, and more optimized.

Another thing, if you make GOOD levels, hang on to them. In addition to the extended levels addon, I'm going to include a bunch of user-made submissions. I'll tell you all how to get them to me once I need them.

And yes, there is a cheatcode which unlocks all of the levels.

OK... I've played on it now, and it's really enjoyable ...

How many levels are there on it? I'm stuck on level 11, because I click to slow to get the Ace's to start digging in time, and all need to survive ...

And I haven't tried the level creator yet, but if I make a one I think is half decent, i'll be sure to tell you ...

There are 15 levels right now. In level 11, you need to make them ALL diggers.

Level 11 just had me annoyed because of the timing. And the 15th level is kind of tough. Same as wacky.

The little bug where you can bash through water proved rather useful, hehe.

I found a much simpler way to do many of the levels than was probably intended. For example, "detour" (I think) took me two bashers, a digger, and a blocker, when it looked intended for a plethora of blockers.

In level 11, I set the speed up to the highest before starting. Only a few need to be diggers that way.

Congratulations, Squash Monster! You completed Detour exactly how I intended you to.

Once I learn C++, I may port this to C++ to speed it up a bit, and so I can have more flexibility with the code. (Read: Bug fixes. )
