It's sad. They're turning Booker heel over on SD. Ah well.

Smackdown needs heels. Whats sad about it is that Booker will get squash by undertaker in like 5 seconds. Poor Booker deserves better.

Why can't the WWE let the crusierweights show their talent on Smackdown? They do sometimes but its always the Chavo or Rey. Its sad. Some many talented wrestlers. All wasted.

Spoiler:
Nunizo won a fatal 4 way on velocity against Kidman, Akio, and Rey Mystero and is now the number one contender for the CW title

Undertaker's finally made an appearence on SD? Last I saw, it was Bradshaw getting screwed over by Eddie, moshing up his $10,000 hat and all.

I never saw last week's episode, but I do know that John Cena won by leaps of proportions for the Great American Award, so they gave it over to Bradshaw by default and Eddie was seen bashing him right in the gut with it and tearing it apart. What an ass. He deserved it.

Wow. Raw is actually interesting!

Spoiler:
Grandmaster Sexay is back! I didn't see that one coming at ALL.

I am a bit concerned about Mick Foley going back to the Cactus Jack thing again. I have my doubts that he'll be able to take it back up to that level...

Don't get me wrong. I WANT to be proved wrong. A lot...

Raw has been interesting for quite awhile. SmackDown! hasn't been. Hence they sent Booker T, The Dudley Boyz, etc. to SmackDown!.

However, I hear that UPN is going (even more) belly-up, and when the contract expires, SmackDown! will be moving to Spike.

And the reason Cena (or Cener, as Tazz calls him) didn't get the GAA is the same reason that Benoit & HBK didn't get the tag belts: Vince apparently has a rule in place now of one belt per person. Since Cena has the US belt, he can't get the WWE Belt. Since Benoit has the WCW, er... World Heavyweight belt, he can't have the tag belt.

I haven't heard a thing about UPN. I would have read about it by now to be honest, but at the moment the network's in OK shape. (It's not PAX or anything. )

But yeah, odds are Spike would give them an extra 2 hours.

Saw Smackdown at the Conseco Fieldhouse.

Dark Match
Matt Cappotelli pins Jamie Knoble after a nice top rope splash. Better than some of the matches that followed.

Major Smackdown Developments
Big Show flips out after losing to Eddie Guerrero. Prior to the match, Show bragged he would quit if he lost to Eddie. Afterwards, he scares Torrie Wilson, smashes several of her car windows in, and then turns it over.

Angle later finds out that Big Show is threatening to throw Wilson over a 20 foot dropoff. He threatens Show to stop or face serious trouble with Kurt. So, Show puts Torrie down and throws Kurt off instead! Angle looks so dead!

After Smackdown
Booker T comes out, says he ought to be running the show, and anyone that has a problem with that can come get some. Cena comes out and does a little rap and proceeds to rough it up with The Book. When Booker gets the upper hand, Eddie runs in and makes the save. Booker gets FU'ed and both faces do their little dances. They ape for the crowd, and slowly make their way up the ramp.

Cena doesn't need the WWE belt. He wouldn't of won against Eddie anyways. Bradshaw is gonna lose. Hes only doing this racist angel since the next SD ppv is in California which has a lot of mexican residents and in mexico wrestling is like a fucking religion. (Damn, I love mexican wrestling).

Easy and cheap heat. Don't agree with it however. Eddie needs to hold the belt until a good oppotent comes along. And frankly theres really no one of Smackdown who I would give the belt.

Beniot and HBK diddn't win the belts since that angel have been played out way to much. I'm tired of the "Hey, two people are fueding so lets make them win the tag belts" storyline. Beniot is gonna win at backlash, if HBK doesn't turn heel on him, HBK, Beniot and Bejammin are probably gonna form a stable. Seems fitting. Might throw the tag titles on them than although a REAL TAGTEAM would be better.

Last week on Velocity (in a pretty good match). Nunizo became the number one contender for the CW title. Why is he on velocity again this week than!?!?!?!

Just a little amusement on the side:

Subliminal Messages in Entrance Themes.

A lot of hailing of Satan here (Vince McMahon, Ted DiBiase, and possibly Hogan), DiBiase eerily predicting the rise of Benoit, RVD advertising that yes, he DOES sell reefer (no, really), Big Show saying "ohhhh, shit" and professing his love for sweet potato pie... Booker T even nods in Mark Henry's general direction. I'm sure none of this was intentional, but it's just freaky what you get.

Like HHH: "Your push will be over."

My guess is that Nunzio has the shot for Judgment Day against Rey.

In other news, Ultimo Dragon looks to be done with the WWE at least for the time being. There's conflicting reports about this - some say he's terminating his contract on 4/30, but another report says that he's going to leave on 4/30, go to Japan for a few months and then come back.

He should just leave.

Hes doesn't belong in the WWE. He belongs in a ring wrestling someone. Preferablly in japan

Anyone else know something was gonna happen to Torrie Wilson when Dupree said something about making her his guess on his thing over on SD next week? That too me was a big give away.

I don't think he'd need to leave if he was *USED* properly.

On the other hand, Austin is g-o-n-e. They couldn't reach an agreement on a new contract, so he's out of the WWE. He is likely going to Japan with Goldberg.

HOLY SHIT!!

Big Show went ballistic on Torrie Wilson last Thursday. Demolished her car and then held her hostage up top. Angle comes in and investigates, only to be choke slammed many feet up top and left lying in his own blood, cracked skull and all. At times it was a freaky site to watch.

First time ever seeing Torrie like that publicly on SD.

Thanks, Seph2k4. SmackDown! comes on in 30 mins. for me, and it's now been spoiled.

I know it wasn't done on purpose, and I'm not mad. I would like to request, however, that spoiler tags be used after watching SmackDown! on Thursday, until Sunday morning. That way, those of use who are getting screwed by our cable companies can have a chance to watch it.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Cox Cable (a company that lives up to it's name like no other), used to re-run SmackDown! on Fridays at 4pm. Now they've moved it to Saturdays at midnight.

Of course, I'm not sure what pisses me off more: The fact that Cox shows it on Saturday's at midnight, or the fact that the show is taped on a TUESDAY, and isn't shown until that THURSDAY!

As for Backlash, I sure hope it's better than WM20 was. If I EVER have insomnia, it's good to know that I can just watch a tape of WM20, and I'll be bored to death within 10 mins.

Sunday morning's a bit long.

I think every UPN affiliate shows SD on Thursday *UNLESS* local sports preempt it. Now if it's always delayed...

WM20 wasn't that bad.

For the most part. Wrestlemania 20 sucked.

Some good matches (eddie/angle, jericho/chirstian, triple threat). But other than that? All of it was pure ass.

I think i'm missing velocity
