Actually I can't be bothered with match details, all I'll say is that Taker vs. Angle was good, highlights included Taker going for the "old school" before Angle runs up and belly-to-bellie's Taker. The end was also a nicely set up Angle-going psycho ankle-lock fest, but Taker battled out. Finish was a chokeslam, Angle kicked out so late people were already walking out the building and never saw the end of the show *dopey*. Anywho, Taker picked up Angle for the Last Ride, then Angle got out of it, Taker then tries a Tombstone, Angle reverses and sets up Taker for one of his own, before Taker reverses again and hits it for the win.

Other highlights: Cruiserweight battle royal, London won after an impressive enzugiri to Billy Kidman from the top rope, Chavo Guerrero getting cheered, Scotty 2 Hotty hitting the worm, and thats about it.

Oh, and despite Britain not getting SD until Friday night MNM still came out as Tag Team Champions, which confused the whole crowd and made us hate their match with Eddie and Rey-Rey even more.

Heh, I knew one of them was gonna end up turning heel by the end of it, might as well be Eddie. It would make no sense making Rey a heel.

And another thing... they need to get rid of those stupid Rematch Clauses in contracts. If you lose, you lose. Whenever the ex-Champ drops the title, It should be one and DONE unless they TRULY deserve a rematch (ie: JBL/Big Show BWSCM at No Way Out). JBL's contract doesn't contain one, but I read somewhere that...

Spoiler:
The plan for Judgement Day is for a JBL-John Cena angle in an I Quit Match... my guess is that Cena retains the title and "quitting" for JBL will mean his retirement from wrestling.

Yeah, I heard about that match as well... but that's likely not what the stipulation means. Vince likes JBL, we all know that.

Wow. I'm watching RAW at midnight from England and I haven't seen any spoilers yet. Damn good.

Just a note: walking down Tooting High Street in London yesterday, and who did I see get off a bus but D'Lo Brown! He's a big guy in real life, I can say that now. I knew he must be living in England considering he now has a role in ITV's "Celebrity Wrestling" (which is really bloody awful) but Tooting? Heh, thats only five minutes from my papa's house. I might bump into him again one day, who knows.

And no, he doesn't do the D'Lo walk in real life.

No offense here, and I don't want to be the prick of this thread, but Wrestling just ain't what it used to be.

Out of my own boredom within the last month, I've watched the last couple of RAW's. I will admit, the team of HBK and Hogan was one of the coolest things I've seen on the show on years, and it's really good to see HBK back as a regular. (I'm betting he has been back for awhile, just proof it's been so long ... )

I don't know, maybe I'm just stuck in the old here. I just like Wrestling a lot more back in the day when it had "groups" ie. NWO, and DX. And when the people that were the "badguys", were actually cool. (Bret Hart for example, most people hated him, but he was always one of my favorites)

A few friends of mine, and myself were all talking about Wrestling for like 2 hours a few weeks ago in school, during an assembly. It was fun, talking about the good times, when Wrestling was good. When Sting would come down from the rafters on a string with a bat, when Mankind would jump off the top of the cage when they had the announcers table next to the ring (I still don't know what the point was in moving it? gah), when Kane was cool and like a freaking robot, when you'd laugh your freaking ass off at how stupid Goldberg was when he would walk the halls with security gaurds, and bang his head on a locker (wtf? I hated him), and so on ...

Honestly, I'm just stuck in the old. I really don't care about these new stars that have popped up recently.

Yeah, go me.

Hulkamania will run forever brotha!

One things for sure, I love how Flair's left his "Whooo" mark in the industry, whenever somebody gets slapped "Whooo!".

Did you watch HBK vs. Shelton from last week? AMAZING match. Shelton has so much potential and Michaels looked to enjoy having him in there as his opponent - the result, of course, was a fun as hell match with an awesome finish.

And they don't get slapped - they get chopped.

As for the Gold Rush tournament final... Well, I didn't have Kane/Edge as my final prediction but everyone's saying now that they need to turn Lita heel and pair her with Edge. If they DON'T, then they're absolutely insane for booking those two in the same match without any reason. The fans might have a field day...

Probably not going to happen...

Spoiler:
Rumor is that they'll "go with the flow" and have Lita turn on Kane to be with new boyfriend Edge. Dunno if that's set in stone but that's one possibility for tonight.

What's he going to do with two shots? Easy. The shot he just won: Lose by DQ, beat the hell out of Batista with a Security Council of international objects. Next, he grabs the mic and announces that he's cashing in his Money In the Bank shot RIGHT NOW. Batista, needless to say, is promptly pinned.

In other news, Lance Storm is done at OVW in July. He's gonna head back to Calgary... Alberta, Canada and open up a wrestling school. But first, he'll do the ECW PPV.

That would be EXCELLENT but I doubt Batista's losing the belt next week given how HHH/Batista III in a Hell in a Cell match is the tentative booking for the next PPV... and then possibly Batista/Orton at Summerslam.

I could see WWE doing that but then having Edge go for the pin... Batista just gets his shoulder up before the three count... and then promptly makes his comeback and pins Edge, who would be dead in the water as far as the main event goes after that.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but I have to ask:

What's going on with this ECW event? Yeah, I know what ECW is / was (used to watch it), but it's returning? Then Bishoff is saying he'll stop it?

So confusing.

Yes, I've watched quite a bit of RAW's lately ...

It is, as the kids say, in the motherfucking house. They're already lining up all the ex-ECW talent they can, and TNA's even said that WWE can use their ECW alums.

This is what has been striking me lately...

On a bunch of wrestling sites (be it official or unofficial), I see a bunch of link text at the bottom denoting Sting's potential "WWE debut" on June 7th, but when I click on them I get nothing relating to the subject whatsoever! Any word on his return/WWe debut? At this point, it doesn't seem likely, but that would spark RAW's ratings considerably (I read that he would sign with the RAW brand if he returned).

Those are likely bait-and-switch advertising links. And I doubt we will ever see Sting in the WWE.

Well, the event's a one-time thing and the production might be exactly like ECW's was - meaning it's cheaper and there's more profit to be had. If it does extremely well, who knows? :\

This whole "invasion" stuff isn't good though. They should have something where 4-5 RAW guys show up and get jumped by the entire ECW locker room. Fun waste of 5-7 minutes.

You know what Eric Bischoff needs to suck it up and let them have the ECW now that he knows its funded by Mr. mcmahon. Another thing a bunch of the raw superstars are interested in being part of the ECW event. Just think about all the superstars that are on raw now a bunch of them were all apart of ECW before they were on raw.

Bet you anything that whole mess ends up only being a 10-15 minute segment.

Considering the matches that have been announced so far, you can't help but drool PROVIDED they don't work WWE-style.

I actually couldn't imagine going to any WWE event, Raw or Smackdown. As far as the Master Lock Challenge and the occasional Simon System collaborations on Raw and the Heidenreich's friend addition on Smackdown goes, I hear they hand-pick someone from the stands before the beginning of each show to be apart of each event, and now THAT'S scary. I couldn't imagine being exposed like that on NATIONAL TELEVISION. Well, the thing with Heidenreich wouldn't be so bad... but Simon Dean or Chris Masters (like they'd choose me for that anyway ).
