Hm... haven't seen RAW yet (of course being in Britain) but ive just seen a repeat of Armageddon and have to say, after everything thats happened JBL is still champ.... Though it was expected, it still disappoints me. The Heidenreich thing was dumb beyond belief.

The TE fight was rubbish, Charlie Haas, rather than coming off cool looked stupid (he could have had EITHER Dawn Marie or Miss Jackie and he picks neither? Must have been near Rico for too long ), and the cruiserweight match, while not bad, was a little long. The RVD/Rey match was best of the night, everything else was sub-par. I honestly hope New Years Revolution (should that be Evolution?) is better, much better.

To make myself feel better, watched some New Japan (Pegasus Kid and El Samurai vs. Dean Malenko and Ultimo Dragon = heaven), ROH and CZW. CZW is crap but they do have some fun matches. Then I got depressed with an old Bret Hart shoot interview... man, he's had a bad life really, these last 6 years or so.

Does anyone here know anything about that 24/7 service from WWE? It looks decent (and thats saying something considering the amount of fKitten Yiffers Vince has had, what with XFL, WBF... only TE was any good) but it probably won't come on here in Britain.

As near as I can tell, it is going to be a video-on-demand service. I am guessing that Vince will be greedy and charge far too much for it to be any sort of real success.

As far as the PPV situation goes, Vince does not seem to realize that the problem is not that they have too few, it is that they have too many. I think the PPVs would be more interesting if they cut them to six, or possibly even four a year.

Spoiler:
So they went with the Elimination Chamber... interesting, although the result should STILL be HHH going over. There might be a surprise or two to make the Rumble more interesting though...

It's official, folks.

Heidenreich/Taker are set for a Casket Match at the Royal Rumble. Should be a good one.

Another match had been announced for RR last Thursday on SD as well, with the WWE title on the line.

Glad to see they balanced out ANOTHER Heidenreich match with a Casket, at least. I'm praying that this ends sometime soon.

Speaking of the Rumble, I'm glad they haven't announced who would be in it yet. I love mystery entrants. Honky Tonk Man and Kane will forever be etched in my mind.

Oh yeah. Definite match of the year contender right there.

Seems that SD gets to flesh out their side of the card before RAW thanks to the PPV next Sunday, although we should find out VERY quickly who the next contender to the belt'll be.

I'd love them to not announce ANY Rumble names, because if they show 30 then you know there's no surprises.

I haven't watched anything that has to deal with the WWE for a while now, almost a year, I think its been. Same goes for those who used to watch it with me. The storylines kinda got really, and I mean really stale, and I just lost intrest. Well, last night, I was watching this DVD on the Hardys, and it got me a bit intrested in it again. So I might start watching it again hopefully its gotten a tad bit better. I mean, is Lita really with Kane (thats the last thing I remember)?!

Yeah, as strange as it sounds, Kane and Lita are a duo now.

While WWE has been a bit off, it has gotten much better, but now seems to be slugging just a bit (especially after New Year's Revolution). Hopefully with the Royal Rumble in a few weeks, things will be getting better real soon.

Just when I finally got back into watching Raw, I learn the results of the elmination chamber.

I lost faith in WWE, again.

Well I can say that it was obvious who would win the Elimantion Chamber and the Woman's title match. They really need to stop favoring HHH, Trish and JBL to be champs all the time. I can handle the other tiltes but those three just make me mad. A good idea I thought of that would make WWE more interesting is for Vince to somehow bring back the rosters together for a few years then split it up again. And keep doing that every few years.

There is really not much they can do with the Women's title right now since they have all of four active wrestlers.

Triple H is a necessary evil for the promotion they are planning for Wrestlemania.

As for JBL... I cannot rationalize that. His mic skills have gotten a hell of a lot better, but he is still putting on mid-card matches.

As for you Anya, you have missed a few good things, but not a hell of a lot. The most interesting things to happen this past year have been the rise of Randy Orton and the more recent Dave Batista. If you are a luchadore fan, there is still only one place to go. Otherwise, I suggest sticking with Raw... unless you want to listen to some really bad poetry.

EMLL!!!

Seriously, (R)Evolution wasn't great. The crowd was on fire and it nice to be in Peurto Rico but the PPV wasn't all that. The fact that Trips won and both Eugene and Lita blew out their knees (and were seen being wheeled out in wheelchairs at the airport). is really bad for Vince and the WWE, and wrestling is on a downer. But hey, Brock Lesnar says he's gonna make a comeback... Though why he would is beyond me. In the CFL he's making more money, working less and is getting a less exposed life than in the WWE, yet he feels ready to return (especially after the reaction he got at WM XX?)? I for one would love him back, but for his sake it could be career suicide, and a lot of the guys in the back don't like him.

I also find the storylines baffling. They have Mohammad Hassan and Dhavari (sorry for sp mistakes if any) preaching the 'racist' America they say they are from, yet WWE then go to Iraq and put a show on for the troops? As much as I respected the WWE for doing that show for the troops during the holiday season, the WWE did not have enough vindication in that storyline to use it in Iraq, which obviously shows the absolute bull that the storyline is based on. Hassan could easily have entered as a normal wrestler who was a bad guy for different reasons, but they decide to stick him with a gimmick that absolutely is not needed. Dressing up Gory Guerrero as a turkey is OK, but having this storyline isn't.

CMLL if we want to be really specific as to the in-ring product.

You made a few mistakes though...

- Lesnar hasn't signed with the CFL. The RUMORS have him going to New Japan if he doesn't go back to the WWE.
- Hector Guerrero, not Gory.

Ack. I always forget which Guerrero it was. And I was sure I saw Brock sign with a CFL team, I heard the New Japan rumours but...I always thought maybe his first choice would be WWE, New Japan would be good though. Hm, maybe I got confused with the whole Minnesota Vikings thing.

In Britain we have the product labelled as EMLL. Whats the difference between CMLL and EMLL? Ive heard of both but thought they were rival companies.

One CFL team (Winnipeg?) put him on their negotiation list, meaning that IF Brock was to go to the CFL it would be to Winnipeg unless they couldn't come to an agreement. It's first option.

CMLL and EMLL are the same company - the TV runs under the CMLL banner but some shows run under the EMLL banner. No real difference.

The only real "signs" of Brock Lesnar possibly returning are the Big Shows uncany of using the "F5" (Brock's finisher back in the day), which they could be using to create a storyline. Personally, I think those 2 would make great competition together and make for some rather "interesting" storylines, especially if Show reigns as the new World Champion come RR (which I think this might be the one in which JBL FINALLY drops the title).

Might be a backup plan but apparently NJPW really wants Brock for at least 3 shows - the Tokyo Dome show in May and two June shows in ITALY of all places.

WWE probably aren't pressured by NJPW but it all depends whether or not they feel they need him.

Oh, and last I checked, JBL's title reign was set to last WELL into 2005.

According to PAST reports, the plan was to have JBL's title reign last until some point or time in '05. Problem with that is, there's not enough contenders left on the roster worthy of setting up worthwhile storylines. Undertaker, Booker T, Eddie, not only did they NOT beat JBL in singles matches in select PPVs, but they even set up a Fatal 4 Way for the title, with JBL still coming out on top. Angle also had his chance, yet they had him win as a result of a DQ (which, as all of you know... or SHOULD know, anyways, that you can't win over the title by such things as DQ or count out; ONLY by pinfall or submission), and thus, JBL is still champ. Think about it: if Show or Angle aren't fit to be World Champ fodder, then who, on the SD roster, is? They took that same approach with Benoit back when he was champ, and I think they will be doing the same here.

Last I heard, there was still a Big Show / Bradshaw barbed wire cage match in the works. If done right, this may be Wrestlemania worthy. It certainly would compliment the card nicely. If they still do use it, that could be the variable needed to drop the title to Show.

Speaking of dropped titles and WM matches, I hear it's Batista Vs. HHH at Wrestlemania, and not HHH/Orton (emphasis on "Not Orton"). You all have no idea how much I want to see this happen.

NO. IDEA.

There's still talk about doing a trade in the draft after WM - Cena for Orton, straight swap. How that would work, I have no idea, but at least it shakes things up.

Big Show/Bradshaw is tentatively set for No Way Out, and the WM match could be either HHH vs. Batista (if they go with Batista winning the Rumble) or HHH vs. Batista vs. Orton (if they go with Cena winning the Rumble).
