It looks more like rehab for booze but I'm not quite sure on that just yet.

This might not be all... some are speculating one more round of layoffs soon.

Sucks for the wrestlers being let off.

I would of kept Gail Kim. She was a pretty good diva, talent wise but than again, the whole division is utter shit so...

They should also get rid of Hedirinch and Snitsky. They both can't wrestle and Snitsky has given the same promo since he debutted.

I *told* you more were coming.

- Jazz (was injured but had recovered, I think)
- Rodney Mack (typical Heat guy)
- Johnny Stamboli (well, Nunzio must be sweating now)

Apple: The WWE won't fire any guys in angles, and sadly they HAVE something with Snitsky - It's almost like he's "supposed" to be bad, yet they have the fans actually buying him as a heel. It's strange.

I know they wont fire guys in angles but I'm just saying that they should get rid of talentless uncharmastic people. Oh well.

I hope they don't release Nunizo. I like him

Good bye Women's division. Tagdivision also lost another tagteam. Grand.

No idea what she thinks.

Let's add Rico to the list, which is a little surprising... and let's also add that the WWE fired *12* wrestlers this week, with the last two likely announced tomorrow.

Come to think of it, what is Tommy Dreamer doing now? Last I heard, I heard he was doing backstage work.

If he is, here's to hoping he keeps his job after today.

I personally wont miss a lot of them, only Kim and Stamboli (I liked his character). And Test can technically sue big time since he was released 6 months before returning from injury. But I do have 2 things i want to say that are WWE related, one important and one not so important:

1) The Arab-American angle. A LOT of people have criticised WWE for producing this angle, so soon after 9/11 and seeing it as a put-down to the 'minority' Arab group. I personally see it as... slightly in bad taste, perhaps, in that they really didnt need to bring up 9/11 to boost their profile, but certainly I am not offended by it, as some are. They are simply wrestlers trained to be actors of a character they are given, and these character is no worse than General Adnan or the Iron Sheikh. No-one is honestly going to expect Mohammad Hassan and his manager to be held back simply because of their race or religion or culture, so the only negative of this storyline is the 9/11 aspect ( and the fact that i think they may use Allah as a ridicule, as Hassan did a prayer to Allah during his interview and it was a little over the top, like it would be central to his character).

2) WHO was that interviewer backstage on RAW? I thought it MAY have been Tommy Dreamer's wife, ex-ECW bombshell Beulah McGillicutty, including the nice welcome she got from Tajiri, but does anyone know? Im very curious.

I think it was one of the Diva Search finalists. The one that gave Carmella the Austin salute.

Maria. That's the one.

No new cuts announced today, but be wary of ANYONE who isn't on the house shows this weekend if nothing's announced until Monday.

Good to know we haven't lost anyone good, at least...

Oh, and an interesting fact about Smackdown that I didn't quite catch: Check it out

That's the point of a LOT of controversy. I wanted to watch it but wwe.com took the video down; and with good reason I would imagine.

If Angle had tapped, egg would have been over everyone's faces - and Puder would have an automatic contract, TE win or not.

Yeah I did notice that Puder's shoulders weren't down all the way and they counted him out. I didn't know why until I read that article. Seems like he would have no problem getting in on his own.

Apparently, Viscera was also among the fire'es/releases as he was last seen on RAW last Monday getting involved with Shelton Benjamin. I wouldn't be surprised if Gangrel was released and then signed by RAW as well to follow him.

Viscera/Gangrel were signed for one-night appearances when they faced UT over a month ago on SmackDown. I believe the Viscera appearance on RAW was a one-night thing too.

I have a question, what is with the facination with big sweaty guys on steroids FAKE beating each other up? It is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of! They are just really bad actors that cant really wrestle.

This thread is for wrestling fans. I don't go to hack threads and say to them that what they do is crap and if they wanted to change games, go to college and work for a games company. If you don't like wrestling, go away and stop being so childish in annoying people. Stupid boy.

Interesting stuff there... the SD thing definately looked like a shoot, though the way Puder instantly wanted to shake hands after looked like he knew that there was a slight conspiracy and he didn't exactly want to make Angle look bad, so he knew the game was up and he had better get on with it.

I cant believe i thought that woman looked like Beulah... i must be blind.

Thomas - That would be considered trolling. I just sent you a PM regarding it.

...No way was that Beulah. No way at all.

The SD thing was a shoot - both fights were legit amateur wrestling matches. Puder did what he would have done in an MMA scenario, and if that was a legit MMA fight Angle would have tapped in 30 seconds, killing any future career.
