Yeah but you have to admit that it would hurt doing some of those moves in the ring. I would like to see Taboo Tuesday but I don't know how much it would cost and if I knew about it being in Milwaukee ahead of time. I would have bought tix and gone there. Even though, my mom doesn't know Milwaukee that well anyways.

On the fly, eh? Thats gonna cause a few problems. I think Vince might have to bring in old Jeb Bush to help sway some results...

Yes, wrestling is basically a show where performers are taught to how to perform things properly, but there are accidents. The list of wrestling-related accidents is endless... though Bret Hart has the envious record of never injuring an opponant in his life. He once knocked a tooth out ( i think it was Yokozuna), but I bet he wishes he wrestled with guys as ring-conscious as he was *coughsplutterGoldbergcough*.

Thanks to a cable company screwup, I am without television this week. Anyone know where I can view this week's RAW?

Don't they show it on the RAW website itself? If you have a good enough internet connection, it should be OK.

WCW tried something like this around 1990. They had a storyline during a PPV where there would be a tag team tournament with the teams drawn at random. Only problem: The drawing actually WAS random.

Naturally, this led to the few people on the WCW roster who could work a match on the fly being paired either with younger wrestlers who hadn't yet learned this, or wrestlers with incompatible styles. The whole thing was a disaster.

Vince is going to have a repeat on his hands, it sounds like.

Heh. I don't rememebr that happening in WCW. Probably one of those ppvs that I didn't see though. Sounds interesting for Vince trying something like that though.

Oh, that was the Battlebowl concept.

It was repeated several times over the years except they actually were smart enough to RIG the draw.

Rigged stuff isn't as fun though, even though, you might not know it with those kinds of things.

Most of the choices have no real affect on the match.

Only the IC and World title one does and look at them. Jericho and Triple H can carry alot of the wrestlers on the card if they need to but all the candites for the WHC title don't need carrying so its all good

Other matches are just "What are the Divas going to be wearing? What will happen after the match? Is it a steel chair or a steel pipe match?"

Those choices mean shit.

WOOOOOO!

Yeah.

Colleen: I don't remember the exact name of the PPV or the concept, just that I read about it in the Wrestlecrap book (A must-buy for any wrestling fan, by the way. Very funny and informative to boot).

Sorry, that cracked me up. If anything, Shelton, Jericho, HBK, et al, carry HIM.

Well you guys *do* have RAW and Smackdown tapings on Monday/Tuesday, Kasumi. Plus they're doing their largest European tour in years - Finland, Italy, all around the UK, etc.

So it makes sense they'd be doing PR.

Yeah, I've known they were coming to the UK for a while... The tapings are pretty important events for the UK fans. It's a big leap forward logistically, but they've finally done it Just goes to show that we're not just a blip on the map

Yeah at least they finally decided to tour in the UK again.

Weeee! In one week I get to go see Smackdown and I have to get pics with me wearing my cat ears there. They I'll post them after I get the film developed and scanned into the comp.

Yeah, Im going to Live And Loaded tonight, In Wembley. Its gonna be great, Im leaving in an hour because trains and transport in London as a whole is not exactly trustworthy... I know there isn't going to be anything major happening, but Itll be cool nonetheless. Ill try get pictures.

Cat ears, Vampriel? If you're front row, give them to a Diva to wear. And get a picture!

I so wish I was sitting directly front row. But I'm not and sitting a few rows back. That would have been cool except I like my cat ears too much to give them up.
