Colleen: Ever hear of a beard?  I'm going to see Summerslam in a coupla hours... first PPV I watched that wasn't on tape since WM11.  In the meantime, while thrifting, I found the Best of Confidential Volume 1 and Summerslam 2002. On DVD, no less, for $5 each. That NEVER happens.  |

| Results from Summerslam (WITH SPOILER SPACE): Bubba/D-Von/Spike defeated Misterio/Kidman/London (Apparently good.) Kane defeated Matt Hardy (Pin came just after the 6-minute mark...) John Cena defeated Booker T (Cena leads best-of-5 series 1-0.) Edge defeated Batista and Chris Jericho (Edge pinned Jericho, retains IC title.) Kurt Angle defeated Eddie Guerrero (Angle makes Eddie submit, apparently a solid but short match.) HHH defeated Eugene (Pedigree when Eugene was distracted by Regal decking Flair with brass knuckles.) Diva Search team defeated WWE Diva team in "Diva Dodgeball" (Appeared to be a shoot and an embarassing one for the Divas - 5 left standing at the end. Carmella was a no-show for some reason.) JBL defeated Undertaker by DQ (Belt shot for the DQ, JBL destroyed after the match.) Randy Orton defeated Chris Benoit (Clean pin for the new champ - Orton escaped the Crossface and connected with the RKO for the win. Handshake after the match.) |

Aww  I didn't want Jericho to be pinned Oh well. I was pretty dead on with my predictions though.I like Randy Orton, but I would of prefered they let them fued a little bit more or something, but hes good talent. Plus it helps erase Brock's youngest WWE champ record. Seems like the WWE is trying to make all the fans forget about him, with good reasons. |

London/Kidman/Mysterio (3D) (8:06) Kane def. Matt Hardy (top-rope chokeslam) (6:08) John Cena def. Booker T (FU) (6:25) (Cena leads 1-0) Edge def. Chris Jericho, Batista (spear on Jericho) (8:25) Kurt Angle def. Eddie Guerrero (anklelock) (13:37) HHH def. Eugene (Pedigree) (14:04) JBL def. Undertaker (DQ; Taker beltshot on JBL) (17:37) Randy Orton def. Chris Benoit (RKO) (20:07) Orton is the new World Champion. All other champs retained. Lita has to marry Kane. No real run-ins after any matches, although Taker chokeslammed JBL through the roof of his limo. Best matches of the night? Easily Angle/Guerrero (dripping in mat wrestling and psychology) and Orton/Benoit. EDIT: My results are better.  Also, as for the dodgeball thingy: I think it was rigged.
