I would still wait on Gail - if they keep that gimmick, I'm sure she'll steal a few moves from Japanese wrestling tapes.

Eh, wasn't the Trishy Dance when she mocked Victoria on RAW?

what was said about wanting the death of the cruiserweights?
nah I don't its just on smackdown there are around 10-12 decent cruiserweights however only one or two of them ever win the title.

the trishy elbow...I would love to witness that in person if ya' know what I mean.....

the new legends of wrestling is out today and everyone who reveived it gave it a great write up.....my monthly wage should be crawling into the bank today too.
though I doubt that anywhere around here will have it in till' the weekend.

what I said about the tombstone being done on me, well I've had it done to me loads of time by people I trust know what they are doing....however someone stupid or sadistic who actually tied to drive you head first to the ground like that would probably break your neck...that's the part I'm not comfortable with.

Glen Jacobs is out of shape. All he does is walk to the ring and he's breathing heavy.

Kane sucks since they removed his maks. He isn't a mosnter. He's boring. He's so predictable, it's not funny. Vince has milked the 2nd Undertaker to death. Now, he needs to get rid of the Kane character, send Glen off to OVW to get back into shape, and bring him back with a new, better character.

As for favorite finishers, I don't really have any. In the games, for Shut Your Mouth, I liked to use Rey-rey's 6 1 9 + Westcoast Pop. I forgot what I used for my other finisher. In Here Comes The Pain, I used Flair's Figure 4 Leglock, and HBK's Sweet Chin Music with the long animation.

I would not classify the IGN review as positive by any means. They said while it has a more impressive roster and better graphics, it still has all the same problems the previous game did. For me, the big negatives mentioned were the moronic AI and the anemic career mode.

We have the writers to thank for this mostly. Has Kane really done anything significant since he went Manster? He has lost most of the feuds he has been involved in.

:smirk:

My character has a lot of attitude, so most of his flashier stuff comes from Eddie and Austin. Both of his finishers come from Eddie. At least two of his taunts come from DegenX.

Actually, he's an alien. And I mean little green man here. Klaatu Barada Nikto. He started out as an experiment to see how far I could push the CAW feature in Just Bring It. Just sort of wacky and weird. He also started out with nothing but blue briefs.

Then my friend and I who get together to watch Smackdown every week started doing "storylines." So to royally cheese him off, I took the outfit from his wrestler, "The Agent" Giavannimaru, and put it on Klaatu. Gave him the same entrance and renamed him Giavanniklaatu. It got the desired effect.

Storyline-wise, the WWF saw the potential in this "alien" who they had mostly been using as a slight comedic relief, and they formulated a plan. They decided to hire some huge outside talent to bring in. They teamed The Agent and Giavanniklaatu with Solid Snake and created a new stable called The Agency. This cheesed my friend off a bit more, but he was starting to get use to the idea by now.

Inbetween JBI and Shut Your Mouth, contract negotiations broke down with Solid Snake (think of him as sort of a Hulk Hogan or Goldberg). They did not have anybody to replace him with, as Jill Valentine was in the process of being pushed to become the first ever "Super, Super Face" as a member of team Biohazard and no one else fit the theme. So, they disbanded the stable. The Agent continued to main event, while Klaatu was basically forgotten about by the writers and the fans.

Klaatu became bitter about this. Particularly when several months later they reformed The Agency. The company had finally manged to bring Snake back in. And this time, instead of calling Klaatu back up, they added Jill to the stable since she was a lot more popular (approaching The Rock level of overness). Wrestlemania was fast approaching, and the WWE was pushing The Agency to the moon. Klaatu decided enough was enough and started running out in a grey trenchcoat to attack Giavannimaru, who was the focus of his bitterness and hatred.

In the meantime, a new heal had been starting to climb the ranks. My friend had created a character named Ice Man who was pretty much the antithesis to The Agent. Klaatu knew he was going to need some muscle to take on the entire Agency stable and this guy definitely had main event material. So the two teamed up and took on Giavannimaru and Solid Snake at Wrestlemania. They called themselves Section 31.

Klaatu took the opportunity to debut some new threads, a sleek black with red highlights trenchcoat and some shades. He also took the ring name Counter Agent, and his new style was firmly in place.

A lot more stuff happened after that, but since no one really did not ask me to tell my character's freakin' life story, I think I will stop now.

5.9 by IGN, 6.5 by GameSpot. Not exactly the ratings a great wrestling game gets.

OK, I will have to agree with you on that point. I know that Glen Jacobs isn't to blame for the way Kane is going. He just needs to get back into shape.

Since Vince is so intent on having Kane be Undertaker 2, why not just have him "killed", send Glen to OVW to get into shape, then have Kane "return" from the dead. And give him someone good to feude with. Like, say, Batista or Tomko. Someone his size, to make the feude a little more realistic.

yeah feuding with edge was kinda' pathetic as you did not believe he could actually cause kane any physical harm.
If he's going to be a monster then he needs to win some time, I can't remember him coming out on top since rvd or shane?

jericho is also tricky....one week they push him, giving him high status the next he is placed in the shadow of edge and made to look crap again?

the main problem with the wwe is conitency with so many superstars they change their goal each week not letting their potential develop.

what the hell is going on with RVD he has great ability but every week he is stuck in matches with shitty ray dudley or crap'von..the dudleys are arguably a great team but to defeat rvd in singles competition just plain sucks.....

Something that always has and always will be a problem with WWE is what Wrestlecrap.com refers to as "MMS", or "McMahon Memory Syndrome". Basically, whatever Vincent Kennedy McMahon and his crack squad of writers want you to forget, you forget. The most recent example would be Paul Heyman's troublemaking on Smackdown...in spite of the fact that he got traded to RAW (And then quit) during the Lottery Draft.

EDIT: How did I miss that typo for 5 days?

The only way they explained that was Heyman coming back for one night when Angle was injured.

And then he never left. And nobody cares.

I guess I got MMS'd on that. The way I see it is this:

* Pauly gets traded to RAW
* Pauly quits
* Pauly comes to SmackDown! in search of someone to manage
* Pauly picks The Dudley
* Pauly is now a Manager

Even though he was traded to RAW, since he quite, he should be able to come back to the WWE on whichever program he wants, and he chose SmackDown!

And am I the only one who just loves the fact that Paul Heyman's entrance video still shows him as the SmackDown! GM? XD

The WWE is getting REALLLLLLY lazy website and movie-wise recently.

They still haven't added some new superstars to the SD roster.

And speaking of the PPV tonight... weirdest PPV I can remember. And that's saying a lot.

I forgot that was last night. I've been sick, so I missed the last SmackDown! before the Great American Bash, so I didn't get inundated with reminders for the PPV.

And I have to admit it. I'm a Eugene mark. I'm really enjoying the whole Eugene/HHH angle. One of the best things Hunter has done since he pused Shelton.

And then Shelton went and broke his hand thanks to Garrison Cade's knee brace. Ah, karma.

I'm enjoying the Eugene/HHH angle as well. I liked how Eugene went apeshit on Regal for apparently using the brass knucks on HHH.

It should actually be an interesting storyline. It's likely this will be the factor that causes HHH to lose the title match...

...that is, until he's booked to win at SS.

One easy way to know that the WWE is scripted...

LOOK AT THE FUGGIN' TIME!! The reason Benoit was booked to win against Kane yet again last Monday was because Raw starts at 9:00 EST and is slated to end at 11:00 (it can only go a few minutes past that, nothing more)... which is exactly what time it was when Benoit put Kane in the Crippler Crossface, causing him to tap out.

They've gone further into the time past their 11 pm ending time before. More recently when Jericho, Edge, and Benoit went against Flair, Batista, and Orton. I can't remember exactly what time it got over but it was close to 11:30.

...How does 11 PM = a Benoit title defense?

If RAW overruns, it usually goes 5-7 minutes. No more than 10 save for a couple of times a year when Spike TV (and by proxy TSN) allows them to take out a little extra time due to a match/angle.

Yeah, it will usually be announced as "A special two and a half hour show" or something like that.

So what's happening on Smackdown anyway?
