| i think that this looks unbelievable...it would be great if FFVII: Advent Children (movie) was like a giant prelude to a game that would accompany it but sadly this is not so. unlike any other FF game i think that FFVII should become a series unto itself and kept alive by SquareEnix for as long as possible. Maybe kill off a couple people like Barret and Could and Tifa (suggestion) and have Marlene and ? (maybe a child of Could and Tifa's) have their own adventure in seeking revenge for the deaths of their parents or something. introducing new plots or subplots or whatever. i think that would be a great idea though should it ever happen i'll be sad to see any of the old characters go. *sigh* its nice to dream.... |

| [Spoilers abound, folks.] I don't see why they should kill people off! And Barrett -- that's your reward for him after what he's been though? No way; the guy deserves to live. The game never makes it clear what happens 500 years in the future -- is just Midgar abandoned? Or have all the humans moved to another planet? Or are there very few humans left, with the Nanaki-species dominating and the humans coexisting with them? Or what? Much as I like the FF7 world and all that it left unexplored, I'd like to see a future independent game with the humans deciding to leave Earth behind in favor of the Nanaki, and moving to another planet where they can exist independently of the Lifestream and its complications. This project could begin with a mission to another planet, led by Cid who finally gets to live his dream of going into space. Terraforming and colonizing another planet could be the basis for all kinds of things. But this would be, say, 100 years after FF7's events. There's still a lot to fill in in between. |

Heh, I didn't know what it was at all until just a few weeks ago at Blockbuster when they had it in this little booklet. I was like " a sequel! YEAH man!" I need to look more into it. I'm veeeeeerrrry curious about deese. It's a good idea. It's cool and different from what they've done before. It said it might include a game or something..I'd like a game but a 45 min movie or whatever is good with me. |

| Yay! Aeris is in the game! Unless it's like a dream... like FFX-2 or something XDD At least there's one good thing about Tifa... she doesn't look like a slut anymore =P (no offense to anyone who likes her, but damn... what did she stuff her bra with?) | Has anyone else seen the silky smooth 50Mb Super High Res E3 trailer doing the rounds? (it's on Kazaa, Soulseek and other places). It looks phenomenal. No Aerith in it though (the trailer), but Tifa really kicks arse Barrett? Dead? Where the HELL did you hear that one? I've seen a piccy where one of the Chars look in a bad shape but it aint Barrett There are more projects planned but no deailts opn those yet, apart from "Before Crisis" which we already know about. Aerith looks pretty foxy by the way I've seen a face piccy of her. Squeenix are giving FFVII:AC Wall papers for sale in Japan. |
