| Look at my brand new lookup! It's brand new! Problem again......... My text runs into Weebl and Bob because it is too low. How do I fix it? | I recently created this new layout. I didn't use css or style tags at all, and after some work I thought everything was finally working. But it seems like I was wrong, because when I edit a post, the text that's supposed to appear at the bottom of the page (edited by DurfarC at...) doesn't show up. It might be because everything you see in this post, including the tables, are created into a big, black table (the background) that I've set to width=100% and height=100%. It seems like the height=100% overwrites the "edited by"-text. Is there anyway I can fix this without erasing the black table (aka the black background, which also keeps the layout organized)? Or is there another way to choose the background color? Edit: Nevermind. I think I got it fixed. I've tried my luck at one of those white layouts with a color box and an image on the right.. ..but as you can see, it seems to want to stick out from the forum!  You can see my header/signature stuff in this document. Does anyone know how I pulled this off?  I'd like to get it working normally...Edit: It was a single beginning tag  my bad. Just a couple of questions so I do not overdo it..what is the size that I should use? Resolution I mean. I know may layout would be different for another resolution computer and I do not want it to become screwed up..is there a recomendation? Would someone beable to help me with my layout. I have a graphic done, but I need the coding to actually make it work .Here is the image:  Pretty much what I'm looking to do is have a layout like Kitten Yiffer's or Kawa's. Image to the right, faded text box on the left, text inside the text box, and doesn't move onto the right picture, and if the text is to long, have it become scrolly. I would like  /color]Text: White Scrollbar: Transparent like Kitten Yiffers No stretch layout. Looks as it looks no matter what I type/put in it. And I would also like there to be 2 things in the signiture /color]1. Layout Credit To "Insert Username Here" For Help With Coding (have this at size -2 font) 2. Beep (linking to my profile) I think thats it . So if someone could help me with this, that would be awesome! You can post the code here, or PM it to me if you decide you would like to help. I also need to know how to put the code in. What to put in the Header and Signiture. So thank you very much to whoever helps. |
