hey, could someone like, make me a post layout? It doesnt have to be something fancy, maybe just a pic of konoha village as the bg, and a pic of Itachi on the right or something. You dont have to make the graphics, you could just code it for me, and I could make the graphics. It'd be cool to also have like a custom quote thingy too, and once again, I'd make the graphics for it, if its less work for you, I just want to fit in.  |

| If you already have a background you want to use, simply upload it to a site that hosts images, such as ImageShack, Photobucket, or TinyPic, then put the URL of the image in the 'Post background' box of the Edit Layout page. As for the picture on the right, in the 'Post header' section on the same page, type <.div align="right"><.img src="???"><./div> Note that you'll have to remove the periods from the tags, as I still don't know a way to get the board to show the actual code and not do something else with it  Also, where the three question marks are, you need to put the URL for the picture you want aligned on the right  I'm not sure how to change the blockquote appearance, as it's something I'm still trying to figure out myself, so hopefully someone else knows  |

For custom quotes, put <span.[name] blockquote {I think that would do it. It's almost the same as how mine works. Kles: Looks fine, but the BG doesn't show up. Also, please use the Link feature to link to posts. |

| I took my post layout off, i kept getting complaints, it should be working fine in firefox and Internet explorer because i tested it in both, so its either screwed up in msn, or netscape, or any other browser. |

| So youll help me? Awesome!! Yeah I just want the picture and colors changed. Ill provide the picture last, but Id like the colors changed to the blue counterparts of the Purples it is now. Sorry for keeping you waiting, if you were  As is probably obvious right now, we no longer have a connection to the internet at home, so I do everything related to that when I'm at volunteering Anyways, what I'd do is this: save the text area background, which you can get to by clicking this link, change the purple color to blue in Paint or another image editor if you prefer something else. Note that after you change the color of the lines in the picture, you'll have to find some way to set the white area to be transparent. At home, the program I use to do that is 'Microsoft Image Editor' or something like that. If you use that program, look for a button on the toolbar that looks sort of like a pencil pointing down to the left, with an arrow on the end. If you're not able to find it, or don't have a program that can do that, then I'll take the picture home ona disk when I'm done here tonight, and change it around there After you're done that, upload it to ImageShack. Once it goes through, go to the Edit Layout page.Look for the URL of the text area background picture (the one from the link in the above paragraph) and replace that part with the URL of the image you uploaded to ImageShack. If you want, you can click the 'Preview' button just to make sure the new image shows up properly. As for the picture on the right, all you have to do is upload the picture you want to use to ImageShack, find the URL for that picture that's there right now (for the sake of easiness, the URL for it is [http://kwan.jizuko.net/images/illadin.png]), and replace the old URL with your new one in the Edit Layout page. Finally, for the background color, there'll probably some bit of code that goes something like <.div style="background: black;"> right now, and for a white background, just replace the word "black" with "white". Hopefully that makes sense and works for you |

Yes, I keep seeing 'edited by ||bass at soandso' at the top of pages.  Why does CSS have to be such a pain anyway? I make an HTML file, put some CSS in a style tag, and it works. Cut the code out, paste into another file, and link to it like this: < Nothing. It finds the file, counts it as a stylesheet (the script 'alert(document.styleSheets.length)' returns 1, so it has to have processed it), and ignores it.  I'm using the exact same method I've used on every other page I've ever made and it worked great, so WTF?(edited by HyperHacker on 03-27-05 04:42 PM) |

| Yes, except for the background (and the clock - flash-to-links, yay Proxomitron ). Is that BG supposed to be part of your layout? It almost looks like part of the board scheme. (Kinda hard to read on that background though.) [edit] Ah yes, it does show up in your profile. Someone needs to fix that background field. And the text isn't bad, actually.
