Ok look, Idaho does not exist.

Now if you read that, you might be swayed to think that Idaho doesn't exist just because some site throws out a bunch of "facts" and what have you. But I've personally been to Idaho so I know it exists.

People will believe anything they read as long as it sounds remotely true.

The moon exists. How do we know that? (Besides the obvious answer of "I can fucking see it") Because we've been there before. Thankyouverymuchtheend.

Well it seems like Legion just put this baby away. We've been there and that's it. I think not believing we went there in unpatriotic to out country.

And here's a website that makes use of a lot of common sense to debunk some hoax theories.

to prove to the commies we rule space well, that was the motivation of the space program in the beginning, to beat the commies and continue to show that america rocks...

anyways, i believe it is all a sham--NASA had exclusive control of the cameras and there are obvious irregularies in the pictures that came from the moon...

I think we did it, but um, I still find it odd that there's wind making that American flag blow when there's no oxygen...

But I think there's enough evidence to say we did it

You think people on this board know what common sense is, much less how to apply it? HAH! You made a funny!

If you read his "common sense" link you'd see these explained. My whole thing is...

Let's see YOU take bulky 60's technology poor-quality TV cameras into space with their poor radio transmitters and send a message from the moon to Earth while making it look like there are no irregularities.

I think NSNick should have just made that a little clearer. Something like "common sense (for those who have some)..."

I do wonder sometimes...

supposedly the japanese are going to send a satellite to orbit the moon and take pictures...with it, we will get definitive proof if it really happened or not now i guess since if the flag is there, it will show up in the pictures.

If the satelite is halfway decent, it'll show the astronauts footprints, the tracks from the rover, the landing sites, and everything else - there's no atmosphere on the moon and therefore no wind to blow them away, no way for them to rust, and no rain to wash them away

Solar winds are basically solar flares they wouldn't change anything. Oh and codiac says that they used there film which wouldn't work out side of an atmosphere since like even tiny itsi bitsi amout of radiation would ruin the whole shot. You can't rest a case till I can get my damn cousin to post back.

Like NSNick's link says, all the material and equipment used for the missions were so exotic and advanced, that even 30 years later they are expensive and uncommon. They prolly had either radiation-resistent film, or it was encased in lead. Nowadays, I think we use digital recording devices that are encased in shielded containers, or at least that's what my science teacher told me.
