| Basically, people that are prone to be seen as n00bs are seen as such for a good long time. You're branded like many people under first impressions are. That, and you're on a forum that loves to point it out, as are a lot of net communities, but this one in particular is a bit more strict on the...how to put...cleanliness of each post. I mean you're not going to see a lot of OMG~! LOL wtf posts tolerated that have zero content to them; it's just the forum you're on. You have two options, really: 1) Conform to the rest of the board and act how they act...which really isn't hard. 2) Continue to act the way you want to and say 'screw it' to this forum and await the consequences or leave. Not saying that to tell you to go, I'm just saying the options but, regardless, it really shouldn't matter to you what an internet forum thinks of you anyways. You're free to act the way you want, but that doesn't mean that whatever rules won't be taken into consideration if you infringe on them on this forum. |
