No, not in the slightest way. Video games don't make me want to do violent things. Unless of course I keep dieing at a cheap point in some game, but then I only want to hurt the game.

Not at all, I don't feel like doing any violent things. Only in the game itself is where I love to do violent things, not in real life.

If I'm ever in the mood to be violent, a nice, wholesome, carnage-filled game does a great job of calming me down.

They're like stress relievers so you don't do that kind of thing. They're fun to play, cause no mental harm to mentally sound people, and shouldn't be the blame of any murder.

EDIT: OH YEAH! I made an essay for this last year, got like 45/50, here it is: (Be prepared for a long read )

Violence in videogames:
Is it really another threat?
By Phil Young 11D

I suppose I could give you the facts. I suppose I could give some sort of number that tries to prove me wrong. I’m not going to do that. I’m going to give you MY facts. I don’t believe for a second that a video game can get a person to kill another person. I don’t think a video game can influence us to do anything illegal. It’s just stupid. It’s like saying because I play Super Mario Brothers, I’m going to start eating mushrooms and jumping on turtles, and then throwing their shells at people walking past me. No. That’s just dumb.

Here is a quote from a company that’s taking games off its shelves because of this ‘ problem ‘
“ Though this problem is not new, it is accelerating. Several years ago we alerted parents about Duke Nukem, a game in which the player enters a room where naked women are tied to posts pleading with the gamer (as Duke), "Kill me. Kill me." In Grand Theft Auto 3 (GTA 3), the top selling game of the past year, the player is rewarded if he murders a prostitute after having sex with her. “
You really think us teenagers are stupid enough to go around killing women? The only possible way we degrade them would probably be whistling at them. You think we don’t know the consequences of murder? Of course we do. We know we’ll be thrown in jail forever. So why do adults think that we’ll do it anyway? They think this because of a recent murder: ’ Scottish teen murdered for money to pay for drugs; parents put the blame on Manhunt. ‘
Now I do realise that there is a lot of violence in the game manhunt, I realise that you kill people with a range of weapons, but this did not influence this murder. Let’s take a look at another quote from that article: ‘His grieving mother, Giselle, said: 'I think that I heard some of Warren's friends say that he was obsessed by this game. ‘ I think. She doesn’t have foolproof evidence; she just ‘ thinks ‘ that she heard Warrens (the boy who killed the other boy) friends talk about it. Well let’s see what I think: I think that Warren had some kind of mental illness that led him to murder Stefan, not this game. Now I might be wrong, but I know I’m not wrong when I say MANHUNT DID NOT INSPIRE THIS MURDER. Why don’t they try to find out what’s wrong with this boy rather than blaming it on a game? Normal teenagers are smarter than murder. Why would we risk our freedom over a game? Exactly. There’s no logical answer that disagrees with that question. Yes, I realise that some games are brutally violent towards racial groups, women etc. But that’s what RATINGS are for. A teenager under 18 can’t buy Manhunt, so his/her parents must have bought him/her the game. Who’s to blame now, if you think that the game you bought your son/daughter has them killing people with hammers? Exactly. Get your facts right before you blame a tragic event on something. You might have bought this alleged ‘ murder influencing game ‘ for your child and ‘ made them kill people because of its influence ‘

People should really start to research before they spark up controversy

Ditto.

I do feel inclined to violence, however, hearing ignorant people talk and pretend to know about things they don't understand.

That's about the same reason I play most fighting games. Killer Instinct series for one.

I dunno, watching the ending of someone automatically beating the crap out of someone until they're unconscious, burnt, dead, or whatever is a nice stress reliever.

No, but I do want to do violent things when I'm playing a non-violent game and things don't go my way.

(...like playing a soccer sim and losing 4-0 in a game I should win. ARGH.)

Whenever I go boot up San Andreas and start shooting down helicopters with rocket launchers, I stop and think, "Holy darn, this would be really hard to do in real life."

So, in short, I do not feel like doing violent things after playing violent video games.
It'd be too much trouble. I mean, where are you gonna get a rocket launcher, or a freakin' helicopter? Or even a Californian gang in Alaska?

I don't get violent after playing violent games and stuff. Games related to competition sometimes, like racing, fighting, and stuff like that, I might get a little upset if I loose, though. That's normal, however.

No.

I get violent after playing a puzzle game and not being able to win on the 8th try. I've gotten violent at my super smash brother's game when I was like 10 and threw the N64 game at the wall. It still works.
