So it's been quite a while since i've been editing zelda 3 and right now i'm editing level 3. But there's still things behind that arent done yet.

1.I have changed the place of the priest and zelda sprites from the church to room 257(a house in kakariko) but they wwont appear. I changed the enmyblk and i tried to insert object 0DC below them but it dosent work. How do i make them appear?

2.And can i insert .spc files from another snes game into the ROM with a program?

3.How do i change the BG of blocks and torches? any of my keyboard buttons work.

4.Where can i download fsnsam or a program similar to it?

5.I have changed starting location of the church to room 281. But when i get out of the room when starting from there it takes me in the forest and continually changes world. what's the matter? The starting location has no exit on the overworld?

I doubt you can insert SPC files. It might be possible to import music from another game using the same music system (never worked with HM), but probably not. There is no specific format for music; it's up to the game programmers to make one up for their sound program, so usually 2 games' sound formats will be different, anything from the commands being in a different order to using an entirely different system (some games even stream low-quality wave files from ROM). Due to the limited memory available for sound programs, the lack of documentation for the sound chip, and the difficulty involved in communicating with it, switching programs mid-game or making a 'fully-compatible' program is difficult if not impossible (especially since one game's program most likely won't respond to another game's commands).

Now of course, programmers often do re-use the same music programs; for example, most of Nintendo's SNES games use the N-SPC program (I believe Zelda is one of them). However, there's still the matter of getting it into the ROM. SPC files are like a 'save state' from the sound chip; they don't contain the actual music data that you would put into the ROM. Also, instrument sets vary between games, so music from one may not sound so good in another.

So in short: No, in most cases you can't import music from another game, and when you can, it takes a fair amount of skill with hex editors and music in general.

you can get it here (right click, save as, it's geocities)

I'd recommend WLA DX if you want a good assembler though.
