| No love whatsoever to Final Fantasy Tactics, which is the only correct answer. The depth, story, and music which Tactics Advanced tried to reproduce (and failed miserably) is why this IS the greatest game ever. Some SNES games get honorable mentions, but there is just so much greatness to Tactics... |

| Umm...I wouldn't exactly count on that just yet =| This thread has very little content that makes it stick worthy. MOST of the posts are just names of games, followed by "it kicks ass" with little to back up why. Unless one of the other mods for whatever reason sees this thread as sticky worthy, I'm going to leave it as is. If you sallvaged it, allowed for good post content, and maybe even had a few pages of posts, I might consider stickying it. | I can't nail one game down as being the best game ever. That's one of the most open-ended questions you can ask. Any type of question like that - top X list, best game in a genre, best game for a system... they're really open to debate. Add in the fanboy equation (for games such as FF7) and it becomes a real headache. I think I could name a pretty decent Top 50 or 100 list in no particular order, but it's when you order them that the problems arise. |
