| This be it! Obviously this is the goodbye post. But unlike many other people's, this one will actually mean it. I could go on and on about how certain people have completly screwed this place over but why bother? Hiryuu and Colleen know exactly who they are and what they've done. Basically, I'm tired of the way this board is being ran (or not ran as it were the case). Xkeeper can delete threads and be a general assfuck to everyone and apparently he'll eventually get rewarded for it. As for me, I put in my honest two cents and stand up against certain people and I get the "omfg leg is not fit for this board!". I'll never understand how that works. Yadda yadda yadda, you've heard it all before. So now, the thanks yous and fuck yous and anything in between. Acmlm, I know what you're feelings are when it comes to your board. The only thing I have to say is that it's your own damn fault for not doing anything about it when you could have. You didn't want to take charge because you were afraid of upsetting people. Well, now that you haven't you've done just that so really, it was just a waste. But really, it's your board so who am I to chastise you about how you ran it? I really wish we could have been better friends over the past few years but at least we were never enemies. I would wish you luck for your future but you really don't need it. It wont stop the hurt, but it will help. Seriously, the board would have sucked YEARS ago had it not been for me. But I give credit to other people because it wasn't just me that made the board a cool place once, it was me combined with other cool people. We rocked. And now, the board has pretty much came to it's end. Personally, I thought it was dead a long time ago. Keep in mind that a board can still be dead even if it still gets posts. Because of that, I think you'll find it hard to simply leave. You might be stronger-willed than I; but I find it's no easy task to leave in anger. | I always thought you were pretty cool, man. I never DIDN'T, in the very least. Man, now I'm all sad and stuff, From the start I remembered you were all edgy and rebellious and like, that kind of guy that you looked up to in high school and stuff. You reminded me of an online version of this kid who won like, class clown, most unique, best all around, and a shitload of other superlatives when voted for by the high school class that preceded me. I suppose it makes sense, too. He was a year ahead of me, so I never really got to know him well. It almost seemed, though, like the rest of the world was standing in his shadow. Now I see him in college. He says hi to me, and he rocks out with me and my roommates and stuff, and in general he seems more human than he did before, but that makes him that much more respectable in my eyes because he seems human instead of like some kind of god that is expected to be revered and loved. You're like that, Leg. The more human you act, the more respectable you become. I can't account for my actions, but let it be known that as many times as I attacked you I defended you in retribution and out of the respect that I had for you as a member and as a staffer who, whenever he could get the opportunity, did his job well and without bias. However, you share another thing in common with him. You've got one set of unbreakable rules about the world that refuses in all aspects to change, save for the negative because in many cases it's easier to believe than the positive. I'd shake your hand as a gesture of goodwill, but I'm afraid of you gripping it too hard and breaking it like people who think I'm weaker than I really am tend to in real life. And don't forget, I WILL be in #nobodysworld. And I WILL be trying to befriend you again. I haven't seen the last of you! |
