Subways are just public transit except in an underground form. Montreal's all about subways, I take them every day for school. Quick and (mostly) reliable. |

There aren't subways in socal, just some railways that go underground temporarily to avoid freeways or something. Subways are more of a New York thing. | |||

Yeah, I think you'd call that something along the lines of light rail. All of Montreal's lines are underground. They wanted to have an above ground line but that never panned out. The system costs enough as is. |

There are subways in most of our biggest cities but I haven´t used subways since I was...well, I don´t remember. It was in Stockholm long ago. |
