I liked Deception because they brought back some cool characters like *cough*Kabal*cough*. I also liked the other new modes in the game. I have yet played a game against someone online because I don't have that internet adapter. |

| I have to say Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks. It's free movement, and memorible moments and sounds from MK2 are the best part. Deception goes in a close second, because I like Kenshi. (Or however it's spelled.) | |||

| I would have to say MKT for strictly nostalgia purposes. The idea of being able to play as just about any character you love from the 2D games is great. However, it's also tied with MK: Deception for my favorite. Kabal and Liu Kang in 3D FTW. |

| Deception was crap... I'm sorry... "Find my father please! He is somewhere in the village." That concept kinda failed because I couldn't tell what his father looked like. MK3 held the best replay value. The fatalities and badass environments made for a groundbreaking success. I'll stick to MK3. |

Out of the first 3 MK games, MK3 is the best but out of all of them I still think MKT is the best. MK Deception was only good online. I never played MK Mythologies-Sub-Zero but I heard it was really bad. MK Deadly Alliance wasn't very good. Mk4 was OK and MK: Shaolin Monks is excellent. It's a brilliant game and is my second favorite. |

| I'm only 22 percent finished with the new one. I'm hooked on it so far, but it's too early to judge it against the others. I was fine with Deception but I agree that it had too many flaws. And some of the most ridiculous voice acting I've ever heard. It would have been nice if we could have pressed start and found a list of all the active missions. And fine if you want to hide some deep secrets of the game where you can only find them by using the internet, but to have several characters be that hard to find, that is ridiculous. I mean, who actually found Liu Kang without cheating? You'd need luck comparable to winning the lottery for that. Deadly Alliance had the best head to head fighting, and the best combo system, and a cooler "Krypt" than Deception followed it up with. The training mode could have used a few more frills though, because every character basically did the same stuff. I don't remember all the distinctions between MK1, 2, and 3. I do remember 2 being my favorite of the 3. Although Shao Kahn was the coolest boss, always saying "don't make me laugh". I'm mad that he never says that anymore. I always thought that phrase to him was just the same as "Get over here" was to Scorpion. |
