New York Yankees win there ten consecutive division title in a row. White socks win by the score of 4-3. Finally I can see that White socks are going to be in the division series. I can't wait until the division series and the playoffs. Is anybody else excited about White socks being in the division series this year. I want White sox win the playoffs this year because they have not one a playoff since the 1916. I sorta want yankees to win, but they have won more than any other team. I'm for Chicago White Socks all the way.

Yankees Haven't clinched yet! if they lose the rest of their games until the divisional series, they can fall out, and they're the White Sox.

I live in Ohio, so I NEED the Indians to win and the Yankees to win or the Indians won't get the Wild Card spot.

*bzzt* WRONG! They won 8 consecutive division titles, not 10. However, since they have no bullpen, progress in the postseason will be non-existant. However, since I don't want to cheer for the White Sox, I'd have to cheer for the Indians or Red Sox, whoever got in. I won't cheer for a team that beat my team back in '02 (think about it for a moment). Hard choice, really. Go Wild Card!

I figure the Wild Card tomorrow goes to either Boston.

Or Cleveland.

Yeah, I have a hunch we're headed for a playoff come Monday.

Nah, either the Bosox'll win or the Indians will lose. Like the Yankees will in the ALDS. :>

That would be nice, but the Yankees won't lose in the ALDS. I'm rooting for the White Sox in the playoffs, but I don't think they will win it all. the Cardinals will.

Its too late for the indians, they losed about 30 minutes ago, so Boston won the wild card. So we are having the same teams from last year. White socks are in this year instead of last year.

The Cardinals ate up the Padres until the Padres decided they wanted to show up in the 9th. Cardinals win 8-5. Peavy is done for the rest of the year with a broken rib.

The White Sox massacred the Red Sox, 14-2. Clement was hit with a come-backer, but remained in. The Contreras that couldn't beat the Red Sox didn't show up, he pitched 8 strong innings.

The Yankees beat the Angels, 4-2. This was the only close game of the day. Although if you just watched the first two innings, you would've have agreed with me.

NLCS and ALCS are set!

Angels beat Yankees 3-2, in dramatic fashion.
Astros beat Braves 3-1, in an 18-inning never-gonna-end game.

Cards vs Astros, White Sox vs Angels. DRAMA!

Reading the first post of this thread now is hilarious.

So yeah, Angels uproar is beginning again. This is the time when everyone buys an Angels hat/shirt/both, put their flags on their car, set their Tivos to record the games, and madly rush to buy tickets to world series games that they don't even know will happen.

Can't say I'm a big baseball fan myself, but ya know.. Angel stadium is 20 minutes down the road so... Go Angels.

Hey, my parents had World Series tickets in 1981 when the Expos were close to heading there. Stupid Rick Monday.

I watched many Yankees games when I was young, but damn they piss me off now. I still like them, but we consistantly hire 40 year old douchebags. The Expos were neat, but then America stole them. Well, hockey is coming up...

How did America stole them? So, one more season was needed to turn out the francise? If you believe that then, okay I guess we did steal them...

Update:

White Sox up 2 games to 1 against the Angels
Series tied between the Astros and Cardinals

Both teams play tonight.

HAHAHAHAHA! Yankees Lose!
Go White Sox! Really, I was the only one who didn't see that play by the Angels that on a third strike, the catcher rolled the ball to the mound, which caused the White Sox to get a runner on first and later win the game.

I'm glad the Yankees and Red Sox both lost. I hate both of them.

Also, the Indians are looking good for next year.
