| Wow...I finaly registered... So, Hello to all pockemon hackers, I realy like playing hacks,even more then real ones, I think... I started to draw some new,very interesting pokemon when I was...let me see...ten... In our country were shown first series of the Pokemon. It was awesome!!! Pokemania spreaded like a disise. I was sick too. I drawed them and drawed. Some time later I drew a pokemon named #152- Dogrina, my friens found it awesome,so I maded 2 evolutions of her...They liked it too, so I started to create my own pokemon. As a result when everybody found out about pokemons like Bayleaf and so on,I had already 1368 monsters drawn,all original,with their own special stuff,evolution and so on... Brainy,Turgentum,Wave,Sulker,Meany... I realy loved them...(and I still am)... I even created comics about my monsters (I called it "Monster Fighter" or MF) It was a story of two trainers- Liz (Luizia, aka Pink) and Carl ( aka Blue).Everybody liked it... So, 6 years heve past, I lost all my drawings,stuff...I but I steal remember them. I thought about it for a long time,and now I desided. I am going to make realy cool RSE hack,wih its own monsters, things,sistem,abilities and so on... But I am totaly nub! I dont know anything about hacking?and so I am here to ask for some health...pleazzz  For the Begining I want to ask some questionds about tools and abilities of tools... Q 1) Can I delete, or redu(better) the starting movie(with boy or a girl on bike). If so,which toolz should I use& Q 2) 388 pokemon,is it max amount of them,or I can make more? If so,How? Q 3) Can I edit attacks,(power,type,name,animation,what does), and add more attacks with graffick,If so, how? Q 4) Can I import my own music,if yes - how? Q 5) Can I make the name of main char unselectable?...so players couldnt type in their name...and can I add char selection (about 4 pers)...So....How? Q 6) Can I add more weather eeffects? Q 7) Is it posible to create mood evolution sistem,like monster evolves on lvl 30 if it has good mood in one monster,if bad,into another. Mood changes cuz of weather,time of a day,relation ship.looses and wins...and more... Q 8) Is it posible to create weather evolution system,so monster on sertaine levl evols depending on the weather conditions.... Q 9) ///posibble to make some monsters appear depending on a weather? Q 10)/// to make monsters evolv backwardz...fore example,if monster faints it has bad mood and turns back into his first form? I have more of quastions,but I cant write them down for once... I realy would respect your answers...please help me... and if someone interested in this project,please post... P.S. Please,dont send me reading FAQ, my Net is not unlimitted... P.S.S. I am not eng or usa,so I think there is a lot |

| I should verbally lash out to you, as is common in these parts, but I'm feeling happy today and want you to be happy too. So here goes. 1) DEPENDS. The movie can be removed with the patches found in EliteMap, and it's graphics can be replaced with several tools. The only replacement is a simple one-image splash screen I coded myself. It was my first Pokémon ASM hack. 2) NO. The "?"-es between the GSC and RS pokémon cannot be made into actually functional pokémon as of yet. More cannot be added with current knowledge. 3) DEPENDS. Names are easy, but unless somebody figures out the rest of the data, there are little properties to edit. Those that can are the obviously stated numerical ones. A hex editor with character table support (please refer to the Romhacking forum's faq for links and info) will suffice. 4) YES. But you'll need some tools you can't just download from the net. They're part of the official Nintendo GBA development kit and to use them in a ROM hack is not something to be taken lightly. 5) Please restate that question. 6 to 10) NO. Unless you know ARM7 assembly and can isolate the original effects. |
