Even with 3 misdemeanors and if he was found guilty and whatnot, he would not get 2 years in jail. And if his past offenses WERE that bad, then why would you go out with him?  |

Yeah, rebels are sexy  . Nah, I haven't dated one so I wouldn't know. Good people do get caught in not so good situations. So I'd just let this issue go..the past ones DV you can't worry about since it was the past but this one he did have to stand up unless there were other people there to back him up. |

Mhmm.... rebels are hawt! Even the good guys are hawt too. Well I guess if he goes then about ten of my friends will be waiting for him to get out. Otherwise it all adds up to if he hurts me then they'll get him right away. I'm so loved by my friends.  Also I knew not to worry about the past ones as I wasn't involved back then. |

| "Protecting his family" is his side of the story. Keep in mind that it's coming from a person who have done that at least 3 times before. If a serial killer told you that he only killed to protect his family or some bullshit like that, would you believe? Nah I don't think you people are that stupid. | Yeah, what knuck said. If he's had to 'protect his family' three times, there's gotta be more to it. That's IF all three cases were fighting for that reason. That sort of thing shouldn't happen more than once, there are steps a person can take to prevent that. And Trapster, I wasn't saying he was a rebel for protecting his family. But it's not like that's all he's done, that's not why he may possibly get probation or whatever. |

| Sometimes people just get in bad situations for helping other people out. He could have been defending important people in the last fights or something. I don't think it could have been protecting his family for more than three times though . I'm sure there's more to it. Hopefully the guy doesn't do it again because fighting is causing him a lot of trouble. |
