Gah, I´m in pain today. We drained the water out of our pool this weekend. Got to carry heavy buckets filled with water for several hours.

That sucks Trapster. How about using a hose? I dont know..just teasing because I dont know how they fill in those big pools..I always thought they used hoses or something..not carry actual water

Yay for my campus having no hills . My HS campus had one but with grass and we'd used it as a short cut instead of walking the little sidwalk thingy.

Well, we did suck up the water with what looked like a vacuum cleaner and then put it in those buckets.

It hurts less now.

Ooh okay, so the same water was used.

Maybe to ease the pain you could have used some drugs Advil, tylenol, stuff like that. My parents used to say that after being sore and stuff... I never really did, I just dealt with the pain.

I should run everyday too around the block a few times at least. I did once a little bit after eating and I threw up the good stuff I ate

I was biking riding all summer but when I first started out boy was my thighs killing me when I got done though. Now I walk around with my boyfriend and still ride my bike to the library for now. It's like after I walk to his house that I feel sick of exercising for some odd reason. It's the same when I bike ride to the library and back to my house. I think too much exercise for my little body makes me sick or feel sick anyways. *shrugs*

I didn't exercise on the weekend, cause I'm naughty. I was gonna make it up by swimming on Monday, but again I was slack.

I think I'm coming down with something too, which isn't good (I'm headachey, I have a sore throat, and I just feel mentally... dull...). I hope this passes, I'll swim again on Thursday

Its not a good idea to work out while your sick, trust me ive done it and it sucks. Just wait until you get better and then start workin out again.

I didnt get any sleep last night, but I still went to the gym today. I didnt do as much as I normally would because my energy was all gone too fast. After my last class Im gonna try and get some real sleep. Then tomorrow ill hit the gym again for real!

Wow.

Lately I've been in the mood for routines based on bodyweight exercises (like different types of squats, lunges, pushups, and pullups). I tried this one yesterday. I had to do pushups on knees instead of the divebomber thingies (my pushups are WEAK because I couldn't do them without pain for, well, over a year while my shoulders were messed up, so I'm extremely out of practice) and I still couldn't make it through the entire thing. My chest is screaming at me today. It's a fun workout, though, and I know I'll get better at it if I keep trying. For at least the next month, I'll give it my best effort 3 days a week and do other exercise on the off days as I like. I didn't really beat the crap out of my legs yesterday because I got a knee twinge well before they started getting fried, so I had to stop, so I think I'll do sprints tonight.

Oh, and I completely agree that it's best to lay off exercise if you're sick. If you have a bit of a snuffle and feel otherwise OK, it's one thing, but if you're feeling crappy, you'll get a subpar workout and probably delay your recovery.
