My job used to be my workout, 8+ hours a day of moving cement bags, lumber, and other such large objects for a hardware store. Now I just go to the gym three times a week to lift for about 1.5 hours, then run about 4 miles afterwards. I swim three times a week for about an hour getting in about 2 miles and I do ab work everyday, ok, maybe not everyday, i try but it's hard.

Ride a bike to and from work every day. Work consists of... well, no hard work, but a lot of walking around. Sometimes the occasion to lift a 20+ pound box arises, but usually the heaviest lifting is 8-pound bags of ice.

Well, depends on what my goals are
When I was just trying to put muscle on:
Lifts weights 5 days a week (you can do that if you don't repeat the same muscle within 2 days afterward) and walk 3-6 miles a day (wasn't really my choice =/)

Martial arts:
Train 5 days a week, 3+ hours a day.

Wrestling:
An UNGODLY amount of running, some drills, pushups and situps, 5 days a week, 3 hours a day.

Preparing for boot camp (my current routine)
Run 3-5 days a week, with a varying weekly distance goal
Pushups (usually however many I can do in a minute up to 4 times, current record is 115 XD)
Situps and variations of crunches:.. pretty random, whatever gets my abs tired without hurting my back =P
swimming in the ocean on and off for about an hour every so often, more for the technique than for the health aspect of it
pullups, pretty much until I can't do anymore than 3 after a reasonable rest.

I started on a gym yesterday.

I´m cycling, training my arms by lifting weights and walk on a running track. I don´t know if it´s the correct word for it.

DDR/ITG is all I need really, and its the best workout I get anyways. I can usually play ITG twice per week at the arcade and I play DDR everyday until im exhausted.

I hack RO clients.

Also, I tend to climb up my chair or even sit on my table when I become nervous (which has been a lot lately, due to tRO/this board's situation).

Other than that, I only play badminton once in a while.

How do you climb up a chair? How big are you then? How big is the chair?

Yeah, the climbing up the chair things makes you sound like a monkey . If you were a monkey you'd be fun to watch playing badminton.

Does it exercise your hands or something? I wish I had a bike. I used to always ride my bike when I was younger. It kept my legs strong and it was fun . I should get a exercise bike but just riding your bike around outside is nice..to be in the purdy weather.

I used to rollerblade a LOT as a kid, I loved it, and it was a great way to exercise as a kid, without some kind of class at school. I played soccer when I was younger, but.. horrible isn't strong enough a word.

I think I touched the ball a grand total of once when I played soccer.

My problem is that I never had any stamina. That's why I dreaded gym class... I didn't want to lag totally behind the group when running and as a result I'd end the run with cramps and totally drained.

I have a football practice everyday after school, from september to the end of october, that keeps me in shape. 2-0 for the season up to date.

After football, I usually just go to the gym 3-4 times a week, there's one right beside my place.

It's a lot worse for the football players at my university. Up super-early every day, eating tons of junk food to gain weight, training their asses off, playing through injuries so they don't lose their job...

Yeah. I'll stick to climbing the stairs thank you very much.

I practise drills I learned in ROTC for two 3 hour periods every day. I also practise tun-soon-ryu katas every weekend in preparation for semi-annual martial arts tournaments, currently working for my 3rd degree and another state title. I lift weights occasionally, sometimes I'll swim on my leisure time, but not often. I used to run alot but over the years I've been running slower. I enjoy crane exercises to strengthen my leg muscles. Try locking your arms out, balancing on one leg, bend it slowly and keep your raised foot off the ground, then come back up without touching the ground or falling. It's easier than it sounds.
