Well it'd be a tie. Conventional weapons don't really have any effect on metroids but a metroid can't kill the reaper by absorbing it's life energy since it has no life energy in the first place.

Than he is the Happy, life giving Reaper. But from sucking all that death the Metroid dies. This transforms the Happy Reaper into the Sad Reaper, who spreads sadness and rain. Depressing, eh?
