| 30u added to the Master Meter. (Hit 3 counted as a block, for half the u.) Kaz is satisfied as his combo connects, feeling the power surge into him... One... Two... but Three felt a little odd. He looks down. "What?" Suddenly, SLICE! One of the Shruikens buries itself deep into the back of Kaz's armor, and the 2nd and 3rd glance off but still slice the armor in different places. "KYRGH--" If one could see his eyes, Kaz's pupils have shrunken to dots at the sudden, unexpected attack. He kneels, shruiken still embedded in the armor, as a field coats his body and zaps the embedded shruiken to dust. With the blade gone, he can now feel the pain full force. "AAAAAUGH!!! AAAAAUGH!!!" Still kneeling, Kaz copes with this as best he can. A deep gash is visible in the back of the black armor, right through his afterburners even. Shaking uncontrollably and heavily damaged, Kaz stands up and turns around, looking up, to face YDavid. "Wow..." Kaz manages to say, his voice pained and raspy. His controlled rage is gone. "You are no Red Sentinel... Not even they could muster that kind of attack. *urgh* Good game." He salutes his foe. "But it's not over... I still breathe." The respect he demonstrates to his foe is 100% sincere; even YDavid can determine that easily. Kaz doesn't attack this turn. Meanwhile, whatever virus affected Probe finishes it off, and it bursts into a small firey ball, gone from the battle. Master Meter = 71u. |

| "Heh... well thanks for your generosity..." "Your not gonna kill him are you?" H. David asked in thought. "I don't know, maybe not. He's putting up quite a good fight David... I'm acually delovping a bit of respect for Kaz... but that warehouse, before I came here, he was about to enter that Grenade Factory to grab some things." "What kind of stuff?" "I don't know, but all I know is that it's a Grenade Factory, so I'm guessing strong weapons... maybe some that even I could attach to this armor suit of yours." He grinned. First off, he morphed his hand into his buster, and aimmed. "Grappling Hook!" He shot forward an electrical beam of energy. It looked like it was about to strike Kaz, but instead it latched onto the Y. David doll, and he reeled it into his left hand. "Can't lose this," he looks at it, and smirks. It does look cute and evil at the same time, something which he liked. It was originaly a joke played by David's friends when David didn't know of his Dark Soul lurking within his Millennium Item, but now... he put it somewhere on his belt, and stored it away for safekeeping. A card appeared in his hand, two really. "Hmm, I'll activate the Sigma Virus Magic Card. Let's see, all I have to do is sacrifice one monster, plus count the three monsters that were destroyed or discarded: Blue-Eyed Silver Zombie, Invitation to a Dark Sleep, and Headless Knight," The three destoryed monsters (ItaDS being a discarded monster) appeared before Y. David, "Graveyard and the Hand of Invitation, I'll sacrifice you, and my three monsters before me, to summon... Sigma: The reploid of destruction!" His second card, he turned around in his hand, showing a picture of a tall hulking monster like being. It glowed before it vanished, Y. David morphing his buster arm back to his hand. The three monsters before Y. David broke up in holographic data, before the ground burst open, and the Hand of Invitation broke up into data as well. A slow, but heavy rumbling could be heard, as the Earl of Demise showed itself. It was a zombie butler, wearing ragged butler styled clothes, black dress pants. A few holes showed his rotting flesh, as his head was blue skinned, only a few hairs seen. It carried a fencing sword, which the tip was sharpened to a point that could carve through flesh of others. It made a groaning sound, before it turned around, and bowed down to a crack in the floor. Behind the large crack was a grave, which read, "Sigma Virus". Light escaped the opening portal, as a chilling evil laugh was heard from the depths of hell. Soon, the earth split open, as a massive hulking reploid at least twice Kaz's height grew out from the earthly grave, before the portal and the earth closed itself. His torso was encased in dark blue armor with spikes on the shoulders, his boots were dark purple with navy blue covering his feet and spikes along the outer sides, his gloves were black dark crimson with spikes around his wrists, and he wore a spiked belt. A long red cape hung from around his shoulders. His head was completely bald. His glowing red eyes were surrounded top and bottom by dark blue triangles and a sapphire-blue diamond orb was embedded in the center of his forehead. "Heh, meet the reploid from the MegaMan X universe. Sigma is a powerful reploid, who can never die in his time. He can plan and plan all he wants, but X, Zero, and Axl will always beat him and his plans in some way or form..." The monster chuckled, as Y. David flew down, until he just hovered the ground. Because Sigma made his apperance, the Graveyard effect from his Hand of Invitation card still remained. In front of Kaz, but not close, was the person he's fighting, the virus reploid Sigma, and the Earl of Demise. He won't initicate an attack either, but instead, waited to see what Kaz's reaction to all this would be... (edited by Forte.EXE on 09-20-05 07:43 AM) |

| Kaz stares in disbelief. "Dang... He's not too shabby at the summons! Those guys are REALLY gonna get in the way of the main target. Grrr..." Kaz arms two objects, one in either hand. In his left is a steel wireframe of a sphere surrounding a purple glob of weird substance, hovering in the middle of the frame. He immediately throws that upwards, and it begins to orbit Kaz from about 5 feet away, slowly. The second object is a perfect metal sphere... and his next move is to activate the afterburners, rocket forward, swerve up suddenly, swerve back down, and swerve up again while throwing the metal sphere down at an angle towards YDavid and Sigma. (The Earl is not close enough.) Halfway to the ground, the sphere suddenly bursts into a large flurry of razor-sharp discs that attempt to shower the area YDavid and Sigma stand. Each disc would do low physical damage per hit, but there are many. Kaz stays in the air after attacking. Master Meter = 64u + 4 for each disc hit. |

| Both Sigma and Y. David look up and saw the shower of discs. Sigma grabbed a nearby tombstone, and tossed it at the barrage hoping to block some of them with the stone tablet, while Y. David quickly resummoned The Halberd, and hid behind it. Only a few ten got past and slightly scratched the armor, but nothing too serious. "Reaper of Cards!" He quickly said, as the Grim Reaper like monster appeared, weilding a deadly scythe. Hanging around it's neck was a rope, with five Duel Monster cards hung to the rope. "Polymerization! Reaper of Cards and Sigma!" Sigma shot forward a thin red beam of energy at the Reaper of Cards, and it completely destroyed the monster. He dashed towards it, and grabbed the cloak and scythe. The items, and Sigma swirled up, then vanished in thin air. "Grim Reaper Sigma!" Sigma reappeared, floating in the air above David. The cloak was now ripped and torn, like it lasted for a hundred years, and the scythe looked a bit different. The metal blade was replaced with an energy based blade, and the long pole was purely metal instead of wood. All Kaz could see was the eyes, which glowed an eerie yellowish red. A holographic energy bar appeared, and it had the symbol that represents the world "Alpha". Energy quickly filled in the empty bar. The fog lifted up a bit, so Kaz could paritcaly see Y. David, but visibility was still an option of distance. Sigma then vanished, only to reappear two feet higher than Kaz from the graveyard floor. "ROUGE!" (eerie echo) He brought his scythe up and around, then swung the scythe downward, the energy blade growing a bit bigger, as he flew towards Kaz's direction, leaving shadow traces of himself as he done so. | OOC: Oi... Would that count as teleportation? I dunno, seems kinda iffy... (2 x 5) + (2 x 10) u added to the Master Meter (30u). (Blocks are cut in half.) Kaz is not unnerved by GRSigma's spooky appeaance, but of something else... "Does he MIND!? That summon has to be stronger than him-- and it's a SUMMON!! Agh... Dang, that giant shruiken still stings..." Then GRSigma suddenly appears nearby and attacks. He brings out the Baton again in a quick defensive maneuver, but he doesn't manage to block correctly. An overhead scythe attack is quite a bit harder to track compared to most attacks, and the scythe misses Kaz's Baton and strikes home. Kaz jerks backward in slight pain, almost inctinctively; luckily the armor is not torn again. He counterattacks GRSigma by chucking the Baton right over GRSigma's head, as the Baton loops around back to Kaz while shooting plasma bolts at GRSigma the whole way. It returns to Kaz's left hand, and right when it does he prepares to execute a combo... but not before GRSigma and/or YDavid have the opportunity to attack. Master Meter = 86 + 4 for each successful hit with the Baton. |

| Sigma (||||||||||||) "GAH!" The attack struck him, as he suddenly went up into flames before it went out. Smoking a little, he turned transparent, and flew around. Somewhere far from Kaz, he became solid again, then opened his cloak. Four red balls of energy surrounded by a mix of green and blue auras dropped down to the ground, before they slowly flew upward. At the speed they were going, Kaz could easily avoid them...  Unbeknownst to the Cosmic Warrior, Y. David was feeling a bit weak from too many summonings with his Shadow Magic. He took some time to catch his breath, and recharge his shadow magic. "Damn, what I get when I get a little over confident..." It would be awhile until he can summon monsters to aid him, so GRSigma and the Earl of Demise are the only two that are on his side. The Earl of Demise was practicing its fencing from boredom, and GRSigma took the stage for a bit. Edit OOC: When summoning monsters with Shadow Magic, it takes a little bit to use, same with using Magic or Traps. Summoning stronger monsters by means of sacrificing takes a bit more Shadow Magic, and Ritual Summons and Fusion Summons take alot, which is why Y. David is a bit tired out. | (4 x 3)u added to the Master Meter (12u). Without skipping a beat, Kaz divebombs one of the rising spheres... and he seems to riccoshe off of it, slamming it with a right palm thrust on the way down. This alters it's direction towards GRSigma without setting it off or injuring Kaz. Kaz didn't expect it to be a very damaging attack anyway, which is good, because at this point, any unblocked heavy-damage attack WILL finish him off. He doesn't even notice the real target, YDavid, below anymore... in fact he's enjoying the fight in the air a little too much. Master Meter = 91u. (Reflected energy attacks don't alter the Master Meter.) |

| GRSigma looks with disbelief, dispite being a holographic monster brought to life with Shadow Magic. "Ohh sh-" His own attack came back at him, setting him up into flames again. Sigma (||||||||||||) "Are you ready for Round Two?" He floated himself down while still burning, before he burst his burnign cloak away, revealing his true form, as the scythe went around in the air 360 degrees before it planted itself into the ground. Sigma brought his hands into the air, before he thrusted them to his side, with a smirk on his face. It seemed his attack Kaz reflected was a fire element, which took Sigma down completely.... until this happened.  "Tremble with terror, you are finished!" (Sigma Quote from MegaMan X4) Sigma grabbed his scythe, somehow levitated into the air, and stopped a few feet from the ground. He then swung his scythe, making it circle around himself, before he caught it, and dropped to the ground again. |

| Kaz lands 20 feet away from the new Sigma and replies mockingly, "You, my friend, have NO chance to survive... Make your time." Then he thinks, "Hey, that sounded pretty good the way I put it. Heh." Holding his hands close together, he forms a sphere of alien energy in between them, and it quickly launches itself at Sigma when it's the size of a basketball. This energy attack does medium damage if it hits and feels like being whacked by a heavy metal ball. Kaz carefully aims it's direction at Sigma's head. By landing on the ground, he puts himself at the mercy of the Earl of D, as well. Master Meter = 84u + 12 for a successful hit. |

| Sigma floated up again, and threw his scythe, which struck against a tombstone close to Kaz\'s feet that immeddiatly began pouring out electrical pulses. It\'ll do medium damage if he doesn\'t get away in time. Of course... Sigma grinned, jumped back a few ways, and shot his arms out to the sides as he unleashed rainbow laser beams from his eyes. It didn\'t get even atleast two inches out as Kaz\'s attack struck him head-on. He went into some sort of defeated pose, as his scythe vanished instantly. Before long, explosions rocked out from his sparking body. Two light flashes blind the area as the area brighted a light blue, smoke pouring out from his body. Two more flashes of light, as the area was bathed in a white light, the smoke no longer pouring out. His sillouetted body meltes into the light, before a loud explosive boom was heard seconds later. The area cleared up, and returned to normal. The gray fog seemed to thinned out, as the graveyard effect from teh Graveyard and the Hand of Invitation card now expired. Everything returned to normal, except the purple fog, it remained. Now Kaz\'s vision of sight has fully returned to him, but Y. David\'s has as well. Located a few feet from Kaz, was the dark soul himself, just getting up. \"Earl of Demise... attack!\" The monster growled out before it lunged at Kaz, ready to peal his flesh off with his razor sharp fencing sword. |

| 12u added to the Master Meter. Kaz glances at the electrified tombstone, and activates his Afterburners just in time to avoid the pulse. Too late... it nicked him barely on the foot, doing only a tiny damage, but still a small bit closer to his fall. He lands 10 feet away from where he took off, only to be confronted by the Earl of D's fencing rush. As his foe approaches, Kaz twists to the left to dodge the first sword strike, and immediately brings his right foot around in a cresent for a powerful roundhouse, which should connect with the Earl's head if something isn't done. After the kick hits or misses, Kaz rockets into the air, "air dashes" quickly forward and lands again, bringing him sandwiched right in between the Earl (if it's still there) and YDavid. Master Meter = 89u + 12 for a successful hit. |

| "Defense Mode!" The zombie butler growled before it planted the tip of the blade, moving itself away the opposite direction, but Kaz has managed to land his kick, but it knocked the fencing sword out of it's grasp, along with the right hand. Y. David regains a little of his Shadow Magic, and got up. He's prepared to go out with a bang, as he pressed a button on his belt. The Dark Command Armor flashed, before it seemed to fold and format right into the belt instantly. He began twirling his Halberd in his hands. "THUNDER DRAGON!" As before, lightning shot out from the blade into the sky, as dark ominious clouds formed. Thunder rumbled, as lightning flashed, before thunderbolts began striking everywhere at random places. One bolt struck his remaining monster, as it broke up in holographic pixels, but it didn't matter. He wanted this to end... |

Two of the bolts strike him, but he doesn't flinch thanks to his spinning, and he's able to keep flying right into the foe, assuming something isn't done. Kaz feels the last of his vitality draining from him... Master Meter = 88u + 12 for a successful hit. |

| "Magic Card... BakotsuDNA!" Y. David glowed before he reappeared as Bankotsu, the leader of the Band of Seven from the InuYasha universe. While the thunderbolts strike the last five times, he grasped both the handle in his hands tightly. "Take this!" Y. David shouted at Kaz, his voice no longer dark and brooding, but in a voice that would make girls swoon all over him... While Kaz rockets towards him, he raised the blade overhead, and at the last second, brought it down with hard force, letting gravity put more weight into the crushing blow that may end this battle. Kaz's body shape morphs slightly, reverting to the way it was before he engaged the Master Meter. He lies on the ground, motionless, but he still speaks, his voice now pained and raspy. "What is it... that you want... Yami..." OOC: Dang, that's 3 times you've trounced me!   |

| OOC: Maybe Round Two vs. Schwa would be different? How about it? "Nothing much that you'd be interested in, Kaz... heh... if you were Inuyasha, I'd kill you, but your not." He smirked, before he walked over to the factory, leaving Kaz there like that. Normally, when he's defeated an opponent's he'd send their soul to the Shadow Realm, but this time, he'll turn the other way, and let Kaz live. Before Bankotsu-Y. David disappeared in the factory, his Hikari shadow-traced beside him, and gave Kaz an apologetic look. "I wonder what kind of weapons I'd be able to fuse into your pathetic Command Armor Hikari... maybe someting that can boost your flying capabilities and speed. Hmm..." |

| OOC: Nah, this was a nice long battle. Though I feel Schwa should play a small part in the conclusion. "Forgot something..." Schwa says. "I gotta go back to the Factory and get it." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Helpless, Kaz just lies there as YDavid enters the factory. About 4 minutes later, there's an ether-streak in the rust-colored, cloudy sky, as Schwa circles down and lands by Kaz. He sees Kaz's fallen figure and gasps. "Sheesh! Kaz, who did this to you?" No answer. Schwa feels his chest through his armor-- his heart still beats, so he's probably just unconscious. Schwa focuses, and a field appears around Kaz, as he is teleported to the Crystal Psipalace for healing. "Hmm... I sense a strong Dark force from inside the factory. I must investigate." Epilouge: Schwa never found YDavid inside. Apparently their paths somehow never crossed, though they could have at any moment... Schwa found part of the treasure Kaz was looking for, but most of it was already gone, and how that was to be was unclear-- maybe YDavid took most of it and left some... maybe YDavid just missed some... maybe YDavid was looking for something entirely different and it was gone to begin with... There are endless possibilities... but all that mattered was Schwa managed to bring some of it to Kaz, back at the Psipalace, who took 2 days to recover (though in reality, it was his armor that needed to recover, not his HP). Kaz was thankful for Schwa bringing him some of what he came for-- Silver Gunpowder. However, since most of it was gone, the amount Kaz received wasn't enough to upgrade his bio-armor. So, he kept it in a pouch in his armor, in case he found another supplementary quanity... ...and the next day, Schwa and Kaz had a rematch. This time, Schwa won. THE END |

| Their paths never crossed, but the factory was almost cleared out. Only the heavy duty weapons and stuff were left behind, but the common ones like basic guns and armor, and computer like stuff were missing. The Dark Soul and his vessle returned back to Earth, and made it look like David was gone on an adventure around the world. He didn't want his friends to know that he existed so he made David lie to them. We now find them at the basement lab of David's three story home. "Heh... well, I came with what I found... some upgrades for your armor," Y. David said, who appeared as a shadow trace behind H. David. The Command Armor was sitting upright in a pod of some sort, while David works on the computer. Doing so, several mechanical arms were working, placing upgrades and stuff that was taken out from the factory, as much as Y. David could carry in his Dimensional Shadow Pocket. "Whatever... but I wonder about that Kaz character... you let him live. Usually you'll either kill them or banish their soul to the Shadow Realm..." "Like I said... he's considered worthy in my eyes..." There were some places on the table scattered with the treasures found at the factory. It was lucky on Schwa's end that he found what he was looking for, for if Y. David had enough room to take back to David's world, whatever of the Silver Gunpower Kaz now has with him would of been gone. "There... the armor's upgrade's completed. Should do better now." Y. David faded out of existance... for now. David pressed the button on the belt, and it formatted into it. The teenager put it on, transformed, and took the emergancy exit out of the lab and into the blue sky, wanting to test out the new upgrades. He didn't want to admit it, but he was sorta glad to have a Dark Soul... as long as he doesn't do anything stupid and get him killed.
