I find it amusing how Thayer starts the rant about people who believe post counts matter. This discussion would have been more meaningful had any of you provided specific examples, rather than just making generalizations such as this. I agree with Ziff, this thread won't lead to anywhere good. This isn't some method to silence you or whatever, if you have a complain about staff member(s), you can always bring it up with them or admins. If any mod feels this thread actually IS making progress, by all means, open it back up. |

| Do you ever stop to think and wonder why Acmlm isn't active? And you and I both already went through the whole circus and back on your amusement. I don't believe post counts matter. This isn't about post counts. In fact, the entire point was that people need to get over their own ideas of what spam is in order to encourage activity.  If I had made specific examples, I probably would have been accused of whining, pointing fingers, or flaming or something like that. Generalizations were safer in the long run, and I feel that others have helped bring this into clarity somewhat. But I think you can fairly easily look around at several recent threads where there are some very good examples of what I am referring to.
