DarkWave wasn't that great; FuSoYa's Regen was terrible, 10 HP every round or two rounds. Lasted for about 6 rounds or so. Tellah's Recall remained in, Kain's Jump remained in, I forgot what Rosa had off-hand. *shrug*

Darkwave was awesome against normal groups of enemies for quick battles.

Pray sucked.

Recall never really worked for me.

Yang's build up and the other thing weren't really useful.

Yeah... that's really it...

I figure it'll be Hard Type, maybe a few tweaks here and there. I'm still surprised because usually Nintendo and Square Enix DON'T announce games 3 months before release. So it's a bit of a WTF.

Or, just like WSC one, they'll eventually just cancel it after releasing no news on it.

Here's what I think, there should be a different level up system. There should be a party member change, when Kain leaves, he leaves, but when Tellah leaves, it does not happen. When you get to Mysidia, you still have the same character's, instead rydia, yang, and edward not at your party in the original version, they are here with you at the town of Mysidia. Make the enemies a little harder. More weapons like when edward only has two weapons in the whole game, he should have more weapons later on and for the rest of the people. More dungions, towns, bigger world. Add on to the world. More monsters, items, bosses. Thats all I can think of.

If they change the leveling system, I'll personally hunt them down and kill them.

Also, having more characters when you get to Mysidia would completely destory most of the story line

Since the spoiler tag is broke in my layout in Firefox, Spoiler Warning:

Why it would destroy the story line:

You're supposed to be alone when you get to Mysidia! Your fucking ship was attacked by Leviathan! Cecil doesn't know if the rest of the party is even alive!

You pay attention to the game at all, or just watch the magic spell effects in battle?

End Spoiler Warning

Also, when you rerelease a game, you aren't supposed to change something as important as the levelling system. It just shouldn't happen.

Leno: Twin didn't have a healing spell, last I checked. It had a mini-Meteor (Comet), and a mini-Flare (which still hit all targets, Pyro). This is taken from the PSX version, so maybe the japanese SNES version was different. As for Recall, I got Bio-all and Stone-all pretty often, hehe.

Then whats the point in playing it, that it has not changed or you already played it on snes and psx versions.

Just... stop talking. Please.

You clearly don't understand the point of rereleasing a game, so just... please stop talking. And anythign I could say would just be repeating what I've already said, but you shouldn't fuck over the storyline in an RPG port. It just shouldn't happen.

What the hell is with your attitude? You know why they are releasing the game? Because more profits for the company, they want more money because when it came out on the snes version, it sold alot of copies and thats why they are going to sell it in december. So don't get mad just because I had a good opinion. Ok What do you think about it coming out? Do you think anything should be changed? I want to hear and listen to your story.

...

That's one point.

However, they rerelease it because it's not available for the original system (they're not making any copies).

The whole point of rereleashing is to get the same game on a newer system. What is the main part of an RPG, the plot.

You can't change the plot and have the same game (even changing small events).

This, and since it's rereleased on an handheld, you play it when you're not at home. That's what you do

Darkslaya for the logical win.

You can't change story, just add extras. (You can add extra story, as long as it doesn't really change the story.)

Thats sorta what I am trying to say to these people. Adding on to the world would be cool. Add five more towns and dungions. Possibly add one character maybe. I have a bad fealing they are not going to do anything to the game, and that would suck.

They already said there is going to be new dungeons and stuff, they might even have an extra ending storyline like they did with DoS FF2.

No, it isn't.

And that's what we'd been referring to as fucking up the storyline.

Also, there's a good reason for Edward to only have two weapons. He doesn't stick around long. Plus, he can use bows, so he has more than two weapons.

You don't have to get really mad just because I said to change the story. You don't have to overreact.

Having Yang with you at Mysidia would mess things up when you get back to Baron, anyway, wouldn't it? Just like Rydia's scene with Golbez in the dwarf place, and Edward when dealing with the Dark Elf...

The same could be said for Chrono Trigger (for FF: Chronicles) and Final Fantasy: Origins. Graphics were upgraded, and the level of difficulty remained, with an added bonus of playing on an easier mode (only the weaklings do this!) to gain experience faster. The story of all said games remained completely unchanged. If the story was changed (even small elements) the game wouldn't be what it says it is, and false advertisement could be thrown in.

Ohhh, ok. It's been a while since I've played any version of FF4, so I was trying to recall it from memory. I must be suffering along with Tellah!

I have another great idea. Why not have a monster quest rpg style. They have their own journey like Cecil did. You pick one of the four monster characters in the beginning of the game. Eagle, imp, needler, or the eye creature that I forgot the name of it. They gain levels, stats increase just like Cecil, etc. It would be fun, but it would take awhile to get finished. Something I had in mine.

I... don't think that idea would fly at all since it doesn't make any sense.

If you want to play a game using monsters, play FFL1 or FFL2.
