| Ok I was looking at the forum index for like 10 minutes trying to decide where this thread would fit, so I guess here? Anyway, ive been looking for a 2D/Top-down map generator for stuff like first person shooter maps, or to at least provide me with ideas. But so far i've had no luck. Anyone know of anything besides some D&D map generator? |

| We're talking about birds-eye view map generators? Steal one from a roguelike. You can find lots of map generation algorithms intended for those at rec.games.roguelike.development. And if you're ever looking to really mess with your players, try using a braided maze. |
