I have a quick question. I noticed in some hacks that when the Bob-omb goes off it plays the sound FX that Mario All Stars uses. I rather have that sound play in my hack instead of the original. How can I change that? Do I need the All Stars Music in there for it to work? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. | |||

Its have used the DW3 patch, that change the music to mario 3 one, but make some sound crappy, I suggest you to wait for solar soundtrack insted, cause DW3 is really buggy for some thing (bowser battle sound become awful) (edited by Bio on 09-14-05 03:49 PM) (edited by Bio on 09-14-05 03:51 PM) |

I am 99% sure that SST does not change SFX sounds. Yeah, you probably will need the SMAS music in there, since noone knows how to change SFX, except maybe Bouche. I never noticed any difference in the explosion sounds for SMW and the DW3 patch, but if there is a difference maybe he can do it. Ask him, but don't expect a reply telling exactly how to do it. | |||

You do need the Demo World 3 patch, but you also need to change the sound in a hex editor. I can help with that. Below are some explosion sounds you'd probably want to change.
