| Story was a bit meh meh, but the fight scenes were godly, as well as the remake of some parts like the '500 years later' scene, which brought back the kickass feeling of playing that game 8 years ago. Overall, I liked how it fleshed out, Aeris appealed to me over Tifa this round, Barret's voice didn't suit him, but the rest was pretty perfect. | |||

What are you talking about Dracoon?! I used the exact Torrent and mine had Subs!  But yeah I loved the way the remade scenes from the game. I agree that Story wasnt the greatest ever but other than that theres nothing NOT to like about this movie. |

I saw the movie twice 2 days ago. It was a great movie. The batle scene were god, graphic, story and everything. I cant imagine seen it on a theather. I recommend it, its a very nice one.  |

| look at this: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=5561 its an AC prequel, its 1 episode so far, 25 Minutes long, im downloading now. I dont think im allowed to post a link to the torrent, so just do a search for nanashi fansubs and its on their tracker. it doesnt say if its subbed or not, but im gonna take my chances, since its only 170MB, and it doesnt say its not subbed. edit: it is subbed, and it just got finished, time to see what its like. OMG. I'm in love with Tifa and her nippage   Anyway, the movie was so freaking ubertacular. I <3 Advent Children! Spoiler: Sephiroth was ungodly awesome. The fight between him and Cloud was really cool. They were jumping and bouncing off buildings and fighting in midair. The sparks and the clangs of the swords were too cool. And when Sephiroth got Omnislash 2.0, I was like "COOLEST MOVE EVER!!!!!!!!" When he "died" was cool, too. The whole wrapped-in-black-wings was sweet. Perfectly fit his character. Then Kadaj cried and died XD I'm going to burn this onto a CD, take it to school, and burn it to DVD as soon as possible. Anyone know a way to burn it with the subs on? | Advent Children was hot and sexy. The fight scenes were..just coo. My subs went by fast ..maybe because of the fast pace-ness..so I'll need to watch it again. I was getting distracted too..people kept on coming in the room.  I didn't get some parts of it..but I still likeded everything .(edited by Bella on 09-16-05 04:27 PM) |

| I thought it was really great for action scenes, but otherwise kinda shitty. Spoiler: What kind of pissed me off what they they didn't make the sephiroth thing a surprise. I think they should have left him out of everything except for the intro, and then had you go WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That thing saying that Kodaj or whoever was "a cocoon for sephiroth" and "oh, so he will turn into sephiroth" was soooo stupid. It was totally disjointed too, and they were just like hey we magically know this, let's cut to us saying just that, to introduce sephy! And it totally ruined the surprise for me. I mean, I suppose I was just waiting to see how they re-introduced sephiroth, but then I was like oh, he'll turn intpo sephiroth now, kk... and it totally friggen ruined it I stand by my original prediction that I made well before seeing it: this should have been a GAME with the movie all being CGI parts of the game. All it was was the midnless awesome action we love and expect from a square-enix game anyways, so why the hell shouldn't it be a game? Their attempt at a plot in the middle was too shoddy, and hours of gameplay would have been a far better transition. |

| I love the film, mind you, I should do, I've been waiting nigh on 7 years for it I think the best comment is one I've seen on another board "It's just like a 1 hour 40 minute long end sequence to the game we know and love". The battle sequences were ace, and so was the little nips and touches here and there (the ring tone made me laugh my arse off, but my fave sequence is the appearance of a best loved piece of music, it made me beam from ear to ear... the line that preceeds it... PERFECT ) Spoiler: I'm talking about OWA here, although Sephhy appearing was no longer a surprise, the music and the way he was introduced made me have goosebumps.... For some reason this made Tifa seem much more sympathetic than the game for me (I'm definately an AC Tifa fan), although I'll freely admit - the ending made me cry.
