| I haven't seen a thread about this (but let me know if there is one). As some of you may be aware, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has been leaked. There are a few torrents around of it with it all neatly translated and subtitled. (I'm not going to link to any, I'm sure you can find them without my help...) I've just finished watching it. Now... I'm a big fan of Final Fantasy VII, but I'm not sure if I was a big fan of this... I may have to watch it again, though to make up my mind... I will say that it's quite visually appealing. The characters look great. As I've found with most of Square's animation, the hair and eyes are very well done, but they're not all that good at making folds in clothing and stuff. The story is okay, but a little..."choppy" at the start (if that makes sense). The fight scenes are good, but just a touch... Matrix and/or Dragonball Z for my taste though. Entertaining, nonetheless... The original game soundtrack appears throughout the movie, in varying forms. Has anybody else seen it? Thoughts? Did you like it? |

| (lolz old news lolz) Anyways. I thought it sucked. Completely worthless story. It looked great, and the CG was amazing. But I'm not gonna think a move is good just cause of that. |

| Yeah, I've seen it 4 times by now, with and without english subtitles. I enjoyed it quite a bit, they did an awesome job redoing all the characters with a new look. [  ]Loz's phone's ringtone. | It's as simple as one thing: If you sucked at FF7 or you hate/haven't played it, you won't like it/get it. Especially those that didn't take the game that indepth with the story at all. If you are the polar opposite, this will please you to no end. I'm in this category. |

| I had alot of trouble with the one I downloaded, wouldnt open in any media players, they would all perform an illegal operation, same with bsplayer, and all the like, finally found one though, n.Player, it loaded the subtitle file correctly and worked like a charm, and when I watched it, I was amazed by how AWESOME it is...you will very much like it | |||

| I just saw the movie. Now YES I am a huge FF7 fan and YES I thought this movie would be awesome before even seeing a trailer. After seeing it I have this to say... I wasnt disappointed in slightest bit. I knew it would be awesome, but SWEET LORD THAT ROCKED!!!! One of the best movies Ive ever seen in my life. Brilliant action scenes! |
