It all stemmed from me leaving a pen in my pocket.

Long story

Now they are bitching each other out constantly. What do I do?

Whenever my parents start getting angry at eachother, I just leave the room.
Everyone has relasionship trouble sometimes, and its weird to think that our parents are actually just two people in a relasionship. Their children interfering of giving them marital advice probably isn't something they want, so I'd just let them verbally beat eachother up until they get it out of their system.

If it is escalating into a physical fight, then more serious action should take place.

Hmm..speaking of parents asking their children marital advice ..actual something did happen with my mom..long story and we had to talk to her about what had happened beacause I guess she isn't going to tell me dad..but now that I think about it, it was a bad idea. You shouldn't interfere because then they might think you're taking sides and it can blow up into something else . Let them be, they'll be able to work out out soon enough. It won't make it any better if you snap at them too. If you do you'll be mixed up into it as well..bad idea.

I'm thinking it started off from the pen issue and then his parents went off on eachother..not because of the pen but digressed from that issue. Parents do it all the time..when they have issues with eachother. He can't really do much about it. It's something they have to settle. Unless you did do something big with the pen..like stab someone . I'm sure that's not the case.

Ah yes, I remember when my parents were being "immature shits." It was about 13 years ago when they got divorced. ;o

Best advice is to just ignore it, don't get involved. It will end up that you're the center of attention in the most negative way possible. That pen? It's gonna bite you in the ass.

I wouldn't get involved either, but the problem is apparently you started whatever the hell happened with this pen business. Did one get mad at you and then the other one disagreed? Normally parents should be a united front, but perhaps this exception caused other things to come up that have nothing to do with you. I wouldn't pin all of this on a simple pen.

Well, Okay I'll explain

Usually I do my own laundry but since my mom felt like being nice she said she would wash my clothes while I was having a 6 hour DDR day at the arcade. usually I check my pockets for junk right before I throw them in the wash, but she didn't do that.

When I got back home, she took my clothes out of the dryer and saw a pen in there , broken and leaking. She got pissed off at me (Even tho the only stain was on a tie-stringy thing on a pair of khakis and a small spot on my bad shirt I use for painting/cleaning/etc)

Then she started going berserk and started hitting stuff and then my dad's all "Is there something I need to do to make you happy?" and my mom went "SHUT THE FUCK UP GOD DAMNIT" And then I heard screaming and stuff breaking.

They are getting along now.

It was just that one occasion? You said "constantly"... big difference.
That's nothing to fight about, honestly. You'll just be doing your laundry from now on.

Glad it's all good now.

Yeah, stuff like that happends with my parents too. Make sure you put what you really mean..with the constantly thing. Usually when parents do that they'll get back to talking later..unless there's an even bigger issue at hand. Glad things are back to normal .

My mom went psycho on my dad for not putting in enough laundry in a load once. That was pretty stupid.

I think parents just get really irritated with little mistakes the both of them make and then they just start a big arguement over nothingness maybe because something else is bothering them about one another as well..

People argue, it happens. They let little things get to them, and then take it out on people who aren't to blame.. I know we've all done it before.
It just always seems worse when it's your parents that are the ones fighting.

That's just like how the assassination of the Archduke and Archduchess of Austria led to World War I--a slight spark set off a powder keg.

But yeah, I think both your parents were pretty irritated by something before hand and they were just waiting for a tripwire to let it out of their systems.
