I wish IGN's thing had an extra column to see what they say is the value of each game, instead of just the total value of your collection.

That would be nice, although I can see it being rather difficult defining a price for each game what with various games becoming more or less valuable over time

Now, I gave EB Games a call this morning to see if they were selling Trace Memory yet, and according to the person on the phone (she sounded like the manager), they do, so with luck, I'll have that game tonight. I've added it to my list now though, as chances are I won't be in here (at Heart and Stroke) until next week, and it can't hurt to put it in while I have the chance

I'm also in the process of reading reviews of Advance Wars: Dual Strike, as I've read quite a few comments on various sites that say it's a must-have game, and that even if you only slightly like TBS games, you should try it out. I definitely fit into that category The one I can recall playing for the longest time was Shining Force 2, but that was manily because I saw how many characters there were in it, after looking at a save state editor for the game

Thinking about it, I wonder if EB Games allows you to try games before you buy them. I know they have a two DSes, Gamecube, and a PS2 set up, although to my knowledge, the Gamecube and PS2 are the only ones that get the games changed regularly. The only game that can be played on the DS, since the first time we went there, is Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt. I could always bring my DS in, but then my Mom would have to wait in the van until I was done

As things stand now, I'm definitely getting Trace Memory, just as long as I can get a ride up there (I can ride my bike if it's absolutely necessary), and they still have one for sale. The person on the phone said she'd set one aside, so that shouldn't be a problem

Ugh, EBgames makes me mad. Apparently, they're not accepting anymore Xbox 360 pre-orders.

Updated my list a bit ... yeah, I recently bought: Castlevania Harmony of Disonance, Castlevania Bloodlines, Darius Twin, Thunder Spirits (ownage), Ecco the Dolphin, and Battletoads & Double Dragon.

My list is starting to stretch. But yeah, thing is, I work too much (that's obviously how I'm getting all these ), so I hardly have any time to play any of these games.

It's not really a choice that I have though ... I pretty much HAVE to work the hours I do, since I work at a Jiffy Lube, there's only about 10 other employee's besides myself.

I don't really have a choice in the matter of going to that place, considering that there's two places in Chatham that I know of that have a decent selection of games. Wal-Mart, and EB Games. CD Plus in our downtown mall and Zellers also sell games, but I've bought about three games from them combined. Tales of Symphonia from CD Plus, then Custom Robo and Super Smash Bros. Melee from Zellers As for XBox 360 preorders, that's too bad A friend of mine preordered his out there quite some time ago, for $50, I believe. He's getting the more expensive package as well, so he must really want the thing

Anyways, our parents left us all alone over the weekend, since they were heading to Niagra Falls for their anniversary. I went up to Wal-Mart twice during the weekend, each time bringing back a game. Thereby, I now own two more games that weren't even on the list of what I want to begin with. Lunar: Dragon Song, and Advance Wars: Dual Strike. I finally figured out how to level up on the former game (battle for Althena Conducts as opposed to items by pressing R) so it's become much more enjoyable, and as for Advance Wars, I'm up to a mission where you see a Pipe Cannon (I think that's the name) for the first time. As for Trace Memory, I did buy it, and I'm stuck at the locked door you find in the hallway outside of the kitchen. I'm sure you have to somehow overlay the orange and blue pictures to reveal the combination, but I've yet to figure it out Looking at a walkthrough, that is what you're supposed to do, so I'll have to really work at it tonight.

After that, while I was at EB Games to buy Trace Memory, I noticed an expansion for Neverwinter Nights I'd never heard of (Kingmaker, for those that are curious). I'd like to think I bought the full version of that expansion, but given that I "beat" (reached the credits) the second module (ShadowGuard) in about an hour and a half, I've begun to think otherwise. For the time being, I'll refrain from adding it to my list until I'm sure it's the full version.

I'll try to add my two new games to my IGN list right now, and as for the list in my profile, hopefully at the same time, as I've got quite a bit of work to do this afternoon

I should post my list...but it may take some time since I have around 200+ NES Games. but...here is some cool URL's of stuff I did for my collection:

NES & Famicom Pirate Carts: (Some not listed, some Sold)
http://megadog.dogsoft.net/index.html?page=9

NES Rare Stuff (Tons to still post)
http://megadog.dogsoft.net/index.html?page=10

Misc Real Famicom Stuff...
http://megadog.dogsoft.net/index.html?page=10

So I must ask...does IGN have slots for like the Power Pad and Power Glove and possibly some of the NES Controllers I have yet to identify?

Might as well add Castlevania: DS to my video game collection since I got it yesterday. I expect more once I get some more money on my birthday which is 2 weeks from now.

I've been waiting for nearly a week now for Trauma Center: Under the Knife to be in at EB Games, but according to what I was told during my most recent phone call, the current release date for that game is the 15th, so this Saturday. I just tried calling them again a couple minutes ago to ask about Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and apparently the official release date for that game is the 18th, which is next Tuesday I suppose that's better than having to wait for a month or some such, but I still hope those games don't get pushed back again.

Anyways, I recently purchased Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, so that's kept me busy over the weekend. I'm stuck now (I just beat Rahab), but according to a walkthrough I looked at, I need the "Bone Ark" soul, so with luck, that'll work. That game has been added to both the list in my profile, and my list at IGN, so it's there if anyone looks at either of them.

Looking at what games I want in my profile, DDR: Mario Mix is supposed to be released this month too, so it'll be nice to have a new Gamecube game to play My brother constantly bothers me about having 17 Gamecube games, and never playing them anymore

For now though, my lists are updated, and even though it's only a one game update, it's as good as anything

Hmm, you should look at a Best Buy around your place ... (are those in Canada? )

I dropped in there today, and saw that game. A ton of my friends seem pretty obsessed with it (at least wanting to get it and stuff).

So, it's either a Canada release thing, or you might be able to find it at a different store.

Anyways, I picked up Doom 3, and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil today for the Xbox. Best Buy was doing a deal where you could pick up both games for $50. On top of that, Doom 3:RoE comes with Ultimate Doom, Doom II, and Doom II Master Levels (something like that).

Great deal I'd say.

There's more games I got recently though, that I need to add to my list ...

Yeah, I'm waiting for Mario Mix as well...

Xeo: Which one, Trauma or Phoenix? I know the latter's gotten great reviews and it seems a lot of developers are interested in using the DS for graphic adventure games... nice way to revive the genre.

The only Best Buy I know of that's anywhere near us is in London That's about an hour and a half away if you drive there (at least I think; we haven't gone down there in a while), so I'd much rather just wait for either Walmart or EB Games to have whatever games I want in I actually got a call from someone at EB Games this morning, to say that Trauma Center was in, so provided I can get a ride out there sometime tonight, I'll be able to buy it. We were out at Walmart last night as my sister needed to get some new clothes since she's finally been hired somewhere for her co-op placement, so I decided to take a look at the games, and they didn't have either of them, so it must've just come in this morning.

According to what I was told, they're holding a copy of it for me as well, so I have to wonder if that game is really being sold that quickly Even if it's not, I hope that I'm not going to be expected to pay anything extra for them setting aside one copy. The same thing happened with Trace Memory, and the final price didn't seem any more expensive.

I haven't heard anything else about Phoenix Wright yet, but Trauma Center, Castlevania, and Nintendogs should be enough to hold me until Tuesday. I really only play the latter before I go to bed at night, and just long enough to feed my dog (Max, if you must know the name, and there is no relation between it and the board member here by the same name), get it to perform the tricks I've taught it so far, then walk it. As for Castlevania, I finally figured out where to go this morning. Make your way back up the (destroyed) Condemned Tower by making use of double jumps and the Flying Armor soul. Find the key past the room where you fought Gergoth, then use it on the locked door down a couple screens

I'm not going to add Trauma Center to either of my lists right now, as if I am able to get it tonight, then I'll have plenty of time tomorrow to add it. For now though, I hope to have one more new game by 9:00 tonight, so the only thing there is to do right now is wait

Yesterday, friend and I drove around to Vintage Stock's and stuff, I got:
Thunder Force II - $1.99
Battletoads!!! - $8.99 (For Genesis)
Streets of Rage - $1.99
Thunder Force V - $17.99
Plok - $8.99 (see note below)
Kirby Superstar - $15.99 (cartridge is a little dirty )

So yeah, incredible deals I'd say. But, my friend got the best deal in my opinion, Chrono Trigger for $49.99, the cartridge looked perfect. I don't know about anywhere else, but it's a rare occasion to see CT these days here. It's just one of those games I still need to get.

Okay, Plok. So, I played this game a very, very long time ago and thought it was awesome. I put it in after my friends got home to his house, and when I heard the music, I almost imploded. But oh well, it's not horrible, but definitely one of those games that was a lot better, when I was younger.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw that screenshot was the first "challenge" in Diddy Kong Racing, where you're required to fly around and drop eggs into nests, or something of that sort That's obviously not the game, but the nest-like thing in the middle of the screen coupled with the egg make me think of that game.

Anyways, I now own Trauma Center, and as I've already said in the "Do videogames make you want to do violent things" thread, it's gotten on my nerves. I was hoping to find a walkthrough on GameFAQs to see if there is anything else I can do to help with what I have to do next, but there are none That's not too big of a deal though. I know exactly what I need to do, but I never have enough time to finish That game has been added to both of my lists now, as should be expected.

I need to give EB Games a call tonight to see if they have Phoenix Wright in yet, as if Alastor the Stylish (I want to call him Kyouji, but I figure it's better to use his current name) already has it, there's a pretty good chance they'll have it as well. The only problem with that came to me from something I read in Nintendo Power. The text in the magazine says something about "giving your objection using the DS's built-in microphone". I feel awkward enough telling my dog on Nintendogs to do various tricks. Shouting "Objection!" at my DS is going to be even worse I still plan on getting it though, so with luck, it'll be added to my lists by Wednesday at latest

Well, if you consider Minesweeper to be a videogame, then you should at least include Solitaire, Hearts and whatever other games are included with Windows

Anyways, I've got two more games in my collection now. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Spyro: Shadow Legacy. I'm up to the second case on the former (what progress), on which I'm stuck. I've done everything possible except telling Detective Gumsworth (I believe that's his name) and the rest of the people in the court that I was the one that wrote "Maya" on the piece of paper in Mia's blood. I can't think of anything good that would come from that, but it could possibly get the detective to slip up

As for Spyro: Shadow Legacy, I'm up to having freed everyone from the Shadow Realm in the canyon, and now I have to find a digging tool (I assume it'd be a shovel) and some boll weevil juice The game is alright, but the loading time is pretty bad. For starters, I'm surprised to see a cartridge-based (or should it be card-based?) game taking some time to load. It's only a few seconds, but it's still unusual. The text that appears when you start the game is frustrating as well. Each thing takes about 6 seconds to disappear, and there's three bits of text that appear altogether, which bumps the wait time up to 18 seconds. As far as I can tell, you can't skip to the title screen either.

That's not to say that the game isn't fun though. It is enjoyable, provided you have enough patience

To finish for now, both my lists have been updated as usual. I also hope to have DDR: Mario Mix by the end of the week. It's been too long since I actually sat down to play a Gamecube game for more than a couple minutes

Sword of Hope is one of the games that I'm going to write a review for one day. Never played the sequel but the game was a VERY unique RPG for its time and didn't get the recognition it deserved.

Oh... Moonwalker wasn't THAT bad a game. But saying that you own it these days... yeah. :\
