Most of the Linux emulators out there kinda suck. Mose of them don't have frontends and are just annoying text stuff. Anyways: Does anyone know of any GOOD Genesis, NES, and N64 emulators for Linux? I don't mind having to use text a decent amount, but not every time I want to open up a different rom. I would rather have a gui frontend like ZSNES for Linux has. When I just want to relax, I don't want to think about stuff.

Can you not get a generic emulator frontend for Linux?

I believe dan means that you should just stick with the emulators that "suck".

I just did a bit of searching with google, and came up with a site that I haven't visited in a while (EmuXHaven). A link to it can be found here, and the links bar on the left can be used from there to hopefully find what you're looking for There is actually one other site that looked interesting besides that one, which can be found here. I don't know whether the emulators listed there will work for you, for obvious reasons (never having used Linux). Therefore, you'll have to try whichever emulator(s) look interesting on your own, but with luck you'll be able to find something useful from either of those two sites |

Thanks but they seem to have the same emulators as zophar.net... >> I guess I'll just face the fact that there are no good NES emulators with a GUI. |
