I have to say one of my more favorite animes is Kirby: Right Back At Ya!

I got a lot of episodes on tape and on DVD. My favorite Kirby transformation is Sword Kirby and Wheel Kirby. My favorite monsters from the show are Slice And Splice, Wolfwrath, Kracko to name a few. Metaknight and Dedede are great to see in addition to Fololo and Falala.

It's Lololo and Lalala you asshat, well.... at least it is in the games. 4Kids dubed it so I watched very little of it. But I'd be interested to see it if anyone subs it.

I was merely stating what Fololo and Falala canon name was. The remark about 4Kids Entertainment was reference to the way they tend to "butcher" the anime series they dub (for an example watch Onepiece). Calling you an asshat was done in a joking maner, i'm sorry if you were offended by anything I said.

I watched the frst episode with high expectations. "Hmm," I though. "A show staring Kirby! This is gonna be great!" Stupid me. I should have known better than to watch an anime on Fox. I believe that it was on par with looking a delicious chocolate cake. You take a bite out of it, and the inside is filled with horseraddish, saurkraut, red cabbage and dung. I had to turn it off and wash the stinging sensation out of my eyes before they spontaneously combusted, with some subbed Dirty Pair Flash. I cannot stand that show or anything related to it (aside from the games).

I really liked playing the Kirby games, but I've rarely heard anything positive about the show and the one time I ran across it, it didn't seem too interesting.

Aw come on all of you hate it that bad?? ;-;

Geez, such harsh critics you people are! Well, I enjoy it greatly regardless of all the flaws you may think it has. The transformations, battles and humor I thought were still great!

I really didnt like Kirby: Right Back At Ya! it had it moments of cool when Kirby would gain a power and lay the smack down on some chumps. However the anime overall just didnt grab me so i stopped watching it all together, im not even sure its still on.

The show has its own charm on me, but I can't say that it's my favorite thing. The CG Kirby and CG Dedede didn't sit well with me, but I still watched it.

That being said, I still cried in the endings of the episodes with Kirby getitng a robo puppy, and the snowman Chilly. ;

Boy you people sure don't hold back..... ;;
What a way to kick Kirby in the mouth.

I guess I'm the ONLY one here who truly appreciates the dub.

If it fairly faithfully follows the same story, does not screw around with the character personalities pointlessly, does not remove anything extremely vital from the plot, and generally keeps the same feel as the original series, it's not butchered. One Piece got a very bad, dub, true, but it's not butchered. Kirby, however, is butchered. Episodes shown in seemingly random order, half of them never shown at all, and then the general backstories for ever character skewered... I'm told they even cut out every point at which Kirby speaks...

I love the Kirby anime and all, but I don't appreciate what 4Kids has done to it. If they left the original sound track (music), named Lololo and Lalala correctly, and put the episodes in order, among other things, I wouldn't feel this way. 4Kids really has a way with chewing up a good anime and spitting it out as only a shell of it's former self.
